Hi all,

I got a quick question to ask you regarding case completion after the IV and AOS package is sent to NVC, has anybody experienced more then 30 business day waiting time? If so, how long did you have to wait for?

My IV and AOS packages was received by NVC on the 13th of June. 30 days should be on Monday next week, I have read from others that NVC is backloged, I'm just nervous that it could take longer then 30 days..

My husband has sent in the AOS and IV package to NVC last week and was delivered on Tuesday (confirmed with tracking number). It's been a week now and neither me or my husband has received any email or letter that NVC confirms that they have our package/documents.

Does NVC normally send any sort of confirmation to the applicants?

Could it take longer then 30 working days to hear from NVC?

I would appreciate for some advise or answers.

I am a IR1 to a american citizen and filed for concular processing and still in processing and

been visiting my husband twice the past year and been asked each time whats my reason for the trip (pleasure or business) I have always said that I'm visiting family and friends and not been denied once!

I do not think you should worry at all, if you have a valid ESTA visa and passport and a return ticket then you should be fine!

I have read the instructions and got confused with how many people we should look at, would it be for 2, 3 or 5?

Does anybody know what is the "rules" when having a joint sponsor for AOS?

So my husband have to show his last 3 years of tax returns and the problem is that 2 years ago he was injured at his job and was not able to work for 1 year so he was on workmans comp. for 6months then after he had to be on unemployment for another 6 months.

So most likely we need to have a joint sponsor.

Then we need to know for how long is the sponsor responsible to be a sponsor for us?

Is it until I would have a perminent residency or until I would become a citizen?

If the sponsor would have a spouse and a child, then what income should the sponsor have?

Hi all,

Me and my husband have filed for consular processing and have applied for I-130.

After being waiting for 13 months to have I-130 approved. It finally happened!!! A big rock just fell off my shoulders.

As far as I know the USCIS will now forward the application to NVC, but how long can this take until my husband will receive the documents for AOS?

how far back does my husband have to show his tax returns?
