  1. Checked the CEAC website today and it looks like the South Korean consulate has received our petition :) I (petitioner) have been waiting almost two weeks, checking my mail everyday to see if the NVC has sent me a hard copy and instructions on what to do next.

Basically I know that I need to send my fiance the entire package of the i129f petition and the i864 form. Besides that what else do I need to send over for her so i don't waste time waiting around for the NVC? ( PLEASE LIST EVERYTHING)

    Thanks!

  2. Hello VJ!

I am having a joint sponsor (my mom) just in case I do not have enough financial support for my fiancee.

I am submitting 2 years of tax returns i dont have 3 because i was a full time student also bank statements and an employment letter. is this enough evidence?

my other question is my co sponsor needs to fill out her own i134 right? also does she need to provide 3 years of tax returns and bank statements also?

  3. I have my NOA2 Hard copy and am gathering stuff to send for my fiancee in Korea. I however lost my NOA1 Hard copy..I hope this is not a big deal. Will the Officer ask to see the NOA1 Hard copy? I called USCIS and they said they cannot send a duplicate. I see no reason for them asking to see the NOA1 but I want to be absolutely sure. I am worried :(

  4. After just complaining here on the board today I just got a text and checked the USCIS website and the petition has been approved. I am seriously so happy right now. I really honestly do wish the best for all you guys who are still waiting.

But whats the next step after this. I'm guessing its going to take sometime for CSC to forward this to the NVC. Should I be preparing the i134 form now? I am assuming I will be sending them tax records from 2012 as I have not filed my 2013 yet. If i meet the income requirement (with w2 tax proof ofcourse) do i still need a letter from my employer?

Thank you Visa Journey members this is an amazing website.

Best of luck to all of you, hopefully we can all be with our loved ones soon.

  5. Hello VJ members!

I always check the website to see the latest approvals and the processing time it took them. I recieved my NOA1 Jan 14th, 2014 and its being processed in California. I know my case has not been that long at all, but i just wanted to ask how people are getting their NOA2 in California and Texas under 3 weeks or so. I saw somebody got their petition approved recently in California in 7 days. My case is not complicated at all. Both same age, no prior marriage, no kids, no criminal record and she was in the States for almost 10 years as a student.

I keep on hearing mixed things on how California has slowed down the K1 processing times due to DACA; but from what I see how fast our fellow VJ members are being approved i think differently.

I got this message within a couple days after my NOA1 "your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)"

Does anyone know for certain what this actually means, I looked up older postings but no one had a concrete answer.

Trying to stay patient as possible through this.

    Good luck to you all!

  6. Hello VJ users!

I recently just submitted my K1 case and received the NOA1 :) It got sent to the CSC for processing. The beneficiary lives in Seoul,Korea. My question is that in 3 months or so, she told me that her family is moving to a different part of the city in Seoul. The case/visa is going to get sent to her old address in Seoul. What should we do? We obviously don't want any wasted times or delay with mailing problems.

    Please help!

    Thank you!
