After 13 years living on the shadows and 10 years with my honey. We were able to get married thanks to the Supreme Court ruling last June 2013.
Finally we got our interview in San Francisco on January 11 2014. Not a good experience. We where interviewed by the lady on the room 17. She was from oriental origins and she was the only one who did not come out and met the couples. She called us on the speakers. I was already nervous. Thinking she had to be my interviewer. She was not pleasant at all she even speak loud to me. I made a mistake when I filled out the application and she got mad. She also made me sign the correction. Look couple documents. we also brought a magazine from Washington DC from 2004, Pictures where taken on 2003 from my spouse and I on the gay parade wedding pictures and more questions while she realized she got to kick us out of the room. No more time for us. she gave us a letter that said they could no approve anything it need it further revision. Well I had the most agonizing 2 days after until on Friday my application changed to Document Production.............. I just that was just her way of doing things, we must not judged the book by the cover. I was always polite. I work in retail...........(always taking but things from people while remaining professional)
Thank God and the Universe for the 13 year wish...... when that text come out I was on my break and I started crying......but keeping myself calm..... I also cried on my wedding day................. Love..... ;-)

Hi Everyone,
I just want to let you all know I got Married after 10 years living together to my same sex partner in San Francisco - on a beautiful afternoon in a boat on the bay with family and friends. I did all the applications myself. my spouse is an American born. Last week I got a letter to go for an interview on February 11th. We are excited but at the same time I'm nervous.
He started with the I-30 at the end of October, after we got the acceptance I started with
AOS I-485 and I-765 after the acceptance they moved then I guess together to the local office but that is the benefits center and on
January 9th they send us the letter to appear for the interview. I will say "flawless".
Wish us luck....
