Just curious, how were you able to use FedEx if it doesn't deliver to PO Boxes and USCIS web site does not provide a street address for I-751 forms?

It doesn't hurt at all to send it, but I would exhaust all possibilities under the primary evidence first before going to the secondary evidence list.  Even photos fall under the secondary category, as many may not be aware.  I am basing my response on the reminder letter we received early this month which gave clear guidelines regarding evidence taken into consideration.

Why are you guys so worried about not having a 2016 tax return? Do you think your relationship is not going to be considered genuine because of it? Just chill, will you :-).

I would not characterize it as not having much evidence :-).

The instructions for initial evidence actually state that, at least, two affidavits are required.

The instructions say that a biometric appointment may or may not be needed for US citizen spouse. If it is needed, you will be advised separately along with instructions on how to submit biometric fee. So you would need to fill in your name where it is asked for. The fillable version of the form does not allow input in several fields including the name of the conditional resident or US citizen spouse in acknowledgement parts and also a permanent address if you put in a separate mailing address. We just filled those field by hand. HTH.

The Sydney consulate advises to wait for the e-mail from them with the instructions. Unless specifically asked for, a simple name check without fingerprints is fine. You don't need NVC number for police as you are the one ordering the report and you simply have it mailed to you.

I don't know if anyone encountered this yet but it appears there are no longer packet 3 or 4. The consulate sent out a single e-mail which listed the documents to be brought to interview and had already an interview date scheduled for you. The e-mail mentioned to come for an interview even if not all of the documents were ready and to bring everything with you, nothing to be sent to consulate. You still need to fill DS-1076 (checklist) but you are supposed to bring it in with you as well.

Our NOA2 date was Feb. 12 and I called NVC today and got the case number (15 days). I was told that they started to process the case today. I went to CEAC site and signed in with the case number. The status said that IV application was not started, and it said on the page to click Start to start the application. Is that what I am supposed to do? Or should we wait for Packet 3? I am the petitioner, not beneficiary.
