thanks guys! I feel really lucky, I'm also thinking of all those patient filers who are still waiting so long for their turn, so difficult. many blessings to them.

Hi fellow april filers! Just wanted to share some good news...I checked my case status online and it says "On April 21, 2014, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. "
It only took 14 days to get approved (California service center) we are both overseas, living in the Netherlands, and in the cover letter we mentioned that my husbands new job in USA starts in May.
Keep you posted, but i'm sure everything is moving much quicker now at USCIS, even if USC is not residing overseas. We all picked the right time to file, good luck guys!

My husband and I both live overseas in the Netherlands, DCF is not possible here, so we send it to Chicago Lockbox. We received NOA1 (email) on the 7th of April. Our case has been routed to California Service Center. Now we are patiently waiting for NOA2...Hopefully it will be a smooth (and praying for a quick) process. Good luck everyone!

Hey guys,
Little update for you..We received NOA2 on April 21st. On June 4th we received an email from National Visa Center that we are now eligible for further processing. We just completed from DS-261 online and will pay AOS fee once it is invoiced.
For the ones that are in NVC stage, I found this link to be extremely helpful:

Just to let you know...couple weeks ago I took the plane from Amsterdam to San Francisco to stay for two months with my husband. I was a little nervous, after seeing posts on visa journey which say that it's not the best idea to travel while having a visa pending. At customs in SF, the officer was really nice, just had to answer a couple of questions ("how long are you staying, does your husband work here" etc), he did ask if Im planning to move to US in the future and I said that I have a pending visa. All good "welcome to US" and now I'm here on a tourist visa! I thought this info might help for the ones that are planning to visit while waiting for their visa.
Have a great weekend everyone xx Angela
