I didn`t enter that information either because the form was not asking for it. Did I miss something or I overlooked? Now I start panicking again
-
Dear friends, please help if you know what we can do.
We sent both the AOS and the IV packages at once (2 packages into 2 separate envelopes and then into one big).
Now, we did that, before my IV fee was invoiced. Therefore, we paid the IV fee afterwards.
In other words, in my IV package I miss the DS 230 form and the bar coded coversheet for the IV fee.
How can I fix this? Will the only solution be to get a checklist and to wait additional 2 months? Thanks in advance.

Hi dear friends
I heard many people got checklist for not putting N/A on the Affidavit of support.
Where exactly are those N/A supposed to be put? Is it on everything that is supposed to be blank or is there some other `rule`?
Thanks and sorry for bothering

This was mini heart attack phew. But now I feel like Thank you all people! Thanks!

This case is in the process of termination. Fee payments and online forms can no longer be accepted. If you believe you have received this message in error, or to resume processing of the case, please contact the NVC immediately.I am the principal applicant for the spouse visa. We were trying to pay the AOS form for 2 weeks every day but it said it was not invoiced yet. We contacted NVC on the phone twice a week and they said sometimes it could take up to 20 days for the fee to be invoiced.Today I checked again and saw this message.Has someone else got it? What does it mean? We are confused and worried... Please help, if you know something that could be done.

At what point do these 60 days start? At the moment the two packages (IV package and AOS package) are sent?
-
My husband that is U.S. citizen just called NVC to ask them what our case number is (since our I-130 was approved June 11t) and the person on the phone told him they needed 25 days to receive the case and additional 30 days to enter the case into the system. Is this the time frame it usually takes? I would please ask you to tell me your experience in this. And how long does it take from the I-130 approval to the interview being appointed? Thanks a lot

I've been following the November threads and I saw that 2 persons have been approved. Believe me it is becoming really hard for me to do this ... I'm sick to my stomach of waiting. I wanna no when will they get to December? !!!

Hi all.
Our pd is December 17, after that we filed for a K3 and our alien registration number was changed January 30.
Since then waiting.
Good luck to everybody

Maybe assets can be put as a guarantee?
-
From what I have read on this forum and from personal experience, I think the alien registration number can change in two occasions:
- when the person that has filed for I-130, files also for I-129 F (K3 visa).
- when the person that filed for I-130 approaches approval or request for evidence.
We are December I 130 filers and after that when we filed for K-3, our alien registration number changed immediately after they received the I-129 F.
Since then, nothing happened, since we are still in the processing time.

So, that is the date from which we start counting our "processing time?"
Thanks for your help.

Yes correct!

YEAH! Congratulations!
VJ Peeps,
Since I'm a newbie, can some explain what the Priority Date is and what it means? Thanks!

The priority date is stated on your Notice of action 1, that you received in the mail after you filed for I-130. It is a date when USCIS got and entered your case in their system.
-
It is great to hear that many of us have contacted a representative and that in some cases it turned out to be a good idea. And about the answer you got from Obama - wow .
-
Thank you! Hey did you all see that, they changed the processing times for Nebraska service centre and now it is 5 months . Does that mean, 5 months from now, or 5 months from the priority date?

Hi everyone and thank you for your help.
Uncle Beer I am the beneficiary, I am not American. But, I just would make a personal notice that it is not helpful at all to discourage people asking questions, because the process can be very demanding and tricky situations may come, so every question should be respected, in my opinion.
It is just that when you read too much, you sometimes get to information you are not really sure if it is correct or not, so that is why I decided to ask the question.
I read somewhere that the visa can be actually denied because of this, but luckily that is not the case and we will give the congressman of Kentucky a try. My husband heard he was helping people and it is just somewhat of a hope in this process to do something and to try. For the member that asked me whether we got a response, the answer is, not yet, since we contacted his office today. Godbless and thank you once again .

Hi everybody,
After how much time can we contact the congressman while in waiting for the NO2?
Can our visa be denied because we called the congressman after 3 months waiting for I 130?
Thank you!
-
OMG this brought some light !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats! Was your case in Nebraska? And did you file for expedite or did you put a service request?
-
Hi to all. We submitted I-130 and got NO1 that December 17 2013 is our priority date. After that, we submitted I 129 F, that is a K3 visa and got notification that our alien registration number has changed regarding our I130. Does that mean that our new priority date is January 30?
-
NO1 December 17 2013. After that we filed I 129 F and they said that our case number was changed on January 30. That is all for now...
I got a question.
Are they going to transfer our case from Nebraska somewhere else sometime in the future? I see that happens a lot on the forum but I don`t know who does that apply to.
Best wishes
-
Yes, my friend..
Just coz of your 129f you didn't get transferred.
They did same thing with me. I didn't get transfer at all but I was lucky
I had expidite request pending.
My 129f date was Nov 14n..
You almost close to 5 month for your 129f so you should hear something soon.
Or you can exipidite your 129f after 3Rd March( 5 months)
I am here any other help you need:
Good luck.
Please help me, I got very interested by what you just wrote and I would like to ask you some questions that have me concerned.
1. After 5 months of I-129F (K3), how can the K-3 get expedited? What should we do?
2. What list of documents did you put in the K3 package? I am worried that we didn`t put all that we were supposed to...
Thank you and congratulations on your approval!

My husband that is the petitioner for I-130 filed for bankruptcy 6 months before we married. Is that going to be a problem for the I-130, having in consideration that now he has a good job and salary?
-
I have a question... Is losing a job of the beneficiary a reason for expedite I 130? Has someone had an experience like this ? Thank you!
-
Thanks so much for your reply, Okay!
We have a really close priority date--- so I will keep posting and look out for your future posts too! Hoping for 5 months over here but preparing and expecting longer.
Do you have any insight into the K3 being allegedly "obsolete"? I was told it might shave off a couple of weeks of wait but not sure if that is the case anymore or not...
Best of luck. The wait is turning out to be grueling!
Best of luck friend and I am hoping for 5 months, but as it goes, with the queue in Nebraska service centre, I am afraid it will be much longer than that. But, we never know...
I also hear all the time that K-3 is not functional but still decided to try, to see if we are in those 0.3 percent people that get approved for it ))
