We got our I-130 petition approval notice from USCIS local field office in Los Angeles back on March 12th...USCIS field office is claiming they sent out the case on March 20th to NVC...NVC is saying they still haven't received anything...It's been 5 weeks since our approval & still no receipt confirmation. We're really worried now. Can someone please let us know if this is normal or not it what we can do at this point?

In fact, I sent an inquiry to NVC and they checked and they cannot find the case...I'm getting extremely worried. Can anyone shed some light and let me know as to what to expect? It's been 5 weeks now. Is this very uncommon for the case to take this long to be trasferred?

I'm a U.S. citizen living in L.A. and I filed the I-130 for my wife in late May, 2013. The case was transferred to the Texas Service Center in mid-December. When can we expect a decision from USCIS?
