No interrogation, they didnt ask me any question. they will only ask for your EAD so they can verify it with their computer and make you wait in a room. Have fun in your cruise, nothing to worry at all.

Hi, i am under k1 when i came to US, filed AOS month of May last year and still dont have my Green Card. I just want to post this update about cruising without Green Card, only Combo Card. So just last month we cruised to Bahamas (Freeport and Nassau) i only have my passport and EAD/AP with me (some people says i will need visa to Bahamas, i even message the Department of Foreign Affairs of Bahamas to be sure and they told me yes i will need a visa to enter.... And then i call my friend who work with cruise and told me that NO i dont need it) --soooooo, i took my chance believe in my friend and went without visa, just passport and EAD/AP........ and had no issue at all, there was no immigration at all in both island, only crew of the ship will check your sail card and Combo Card to see if name matches...... just when coming back to US, they are strict if you are with EAD/AP they will send you to a special room while they are verifying your Card, it took us like 30 minutes inside the room waiting but thats the only hassle.

I AM NOT ADVICING YOU TO GO WITHOUT VISA. I AM JUST TELLING FROM MY OWN EXPERIENCE, IT STILL DEPENDS ON YOU. :)

I and my daughter was petitioned at same time, it only took few months... did the medical at march, interview at February, approved, visa issued and flew to US at Feb too... it's our 3rd month today in US...

SSN is not a requirement, you can get married even no SSN and can get it after.

I've been here for a month, and my husband go to work every weekdays from morning till night, I am left at home and sometimes it make feel stuck and lonely, i wish to meet filipinas and have some friend... Anyone in texas near to my city?!

I was asked for 1040, but i guess it depends on the consul, mybe some ask and some dont, not sure... my interview was last week feb.13... now getting ready to do cfo. gudluck with ur interview! ?

Help pls... i am planning to go to CFO next week and I've read that they need NBI, but then I only have half of it(the personal copy) coz the USEM took the other half at interview. Does it mean i will need to take another NBI? Thnx in advance!

When is ur interview? I met few k1 visa applicant at slec but none has account in vj, suggested them to read forums as it is really helpful.. Godbless to all of us!

Wow Vanessa ur so luckily u did it in one day, in my case we went really early and afternoon after i went to slec i go direct to st lukes main for derma medical as directed (and all went well since its nothing serious) also i have to go back on monday with my daughter for her tst and tst result on wednesday, so really tke 3 days for us. huhu!

Wow i'm very sad, So tired for the medical with all the waiting esp seeing my 6yo daughter exhausted, sleepy, crying... I feel stress!! And still NO Medical Result and IMMUNIZATION today coz of my skin allergy, I even went to my derma to get medical for the allergy(at back, allergic to some food) as i've read that they require that if u have allergy.. but they didnt accept it and want one from st lukes main hospital...

my fiance(petitioner) sent the 1-134 to NVC, does this mean he have to fill up another form and send to me? i do have copies of his W2 and pay stubs(scanned, not orig)... help pls!

I've been trying to upload mine too as i want to start filling up my ds-160, but it does the same thing (Server Error in '/QotW' Application.) Will try to do it tomorrow, hopefully it will be fix by then.
