i Have been reading various posts here since last one year but now since i am desparate and have no option i am turning here for some help, here is my situation
I am a Permanent Resident (Green Card)
Got Married March 2012
Filed for Wifes I130 in September 2012 (09-15-2012)
September 23rd 2012 Rcvd NOA1 so PD is at the same time
In August 2013 (8th August to be exact 2013) rcvd a letter that case has been moved from VERMONT SERVICE CENTER to NEBRASKA for faster processing..
and now its 1-1-14 faster processing is way too slow.. vermont shows that cases are way into 2013 whereas mine is from 2012 and there is no way to check for Nebraska...
I called and emailed and all i have received so far is a letter stating that my case is still pending.. which i dont understand
Is there any one in similar boat with a PD on or before October 2012 who hasnt heard anything yet.
Please give me some helpful advice
P.S. I recently communicated through local senators office but i am guessing due to holidays i shouldnt expect any response any time soon
