I am filing for adjustment of status for my spouse after getting married and was wondering if it matters if the state we file in is different from the state we got married in?

Mine did the same thing .. changed from card production to decision. It still says underneath of the decision bubble that the case has been approved, and that a card has been ordered though. It seems to be a glitch in the system happening to a lot of people that are at this stage. Congratulations on your approval!

Had our interview in Seattle today, and got approved!

Had a very pleasant experience with our interview today, and at the end he said "I approve your case"! We couldn't be happier! Thank you to everyone on these boards, your knowledge and experience has made this process so much easier and less stressful for us! Good luck and best wishes for everyone still going through the process!!

Hi everyone! Ive been following these forums for a while now, and all of these posts have been so helpful to us along the way!

We filed everything (I-485, I-130, EAD & AP applications) together on 1/8/14 with NOA's on 1/14/14. We have since completed the biometrics and have an interview appointment for 3/24/14. My question is .. I know that once you get an EAD, you can apply for a SSN and work, but does the same apply for a greencard if we get approved for the greencard before the EAD comes?

Hi all! My Canadian husband and I are currently living in the US (I am a USC). He arrived here in October, so he still has three months left on his tourist visa. We were married in December, and are getting ready to file the I-130 and I-485 concurrently. My question is, for both the I-485 and the I-130 should we list his address as here in the US or in Canada? I know they should all be the same address through all of the forms, I just wasn't sure which we should use. Thank you for all of your help!!
