Approval paper says a 230$ fee for IV. Is this fee during the POE? Is there a fee during my wife's POE? Is this 230$ IV fee during the NVC process and this paper isn't updated?

Grats bruin. Im in the same boat. Confused as hell! Just wanna make sure I registered correctly. Visa was approved 8/15. Still shows Ready on CEAC status check. Ustraveldoc hasnt updated with anything new since then.

Any body know how to confirm theyre sending you your visa after address delivery on utravel

Checking back in. Interview on the 7th. Recieved Blue slip for 10 year residency and timeline. Today went to turn those in and recieved an OK for my wife to come to the states. Sooooooo stoked!!!!! Thank you everyone who've helped me along the way. VJ is truly a blessing.

thanks for all the replies guys. very much appreciated. and yes im a USC so i also play the i don't know vietnamese card and look grumpy going through.. will def have 2 phones on me and the rest will be in my luggage and if they ask im going to say its gifts for family. they arent the best phones. old LG iphone 3GS a 4S and a S3. so hopefully i wont get any extra hassle.

Not really sure what order she went in but our immigration lawyer has an office in vietnam so my wife got helped along the way. Medical is about 4.8m. 2m for vaccine. 2.7 for the other part. She had to go pick up results the next day

medical was scheduled fairly quickly. got an appointment a week later

plane ticket + medical fees + hotel stay and food and whatever else = whole grip of money D;

wifes medical complete 7/2!

im planning on bringing about 5 cell phones to vietnam. all as gifts. i was wondering if anyone here have experience on this stuff and how i may go about getting thru customs with hassle.

Any reason that they would ask for a list of where you lived and names of siblings at this stage? Isn't this all info that's submitted to USCIS originally?

As long as you have $$$, you are the first one in the line haha. From some people that I know, their case was completed early in May and their interview is around Mid July. We gotta wait until August man
