hello everyone! how i can view my status of my new green card online? they send me a letter of approval by the end of May 2009, until now my green card still not here ... they said that i can get my green card within 60 days duh! why is very delay? they never send me an extention letter for 1 yr...

we call the office that they can put a stamp on my passport

im worried cuz were going to the Philippines in August...

I've heard about a couple of people getting letters. Hmmm.. interesting, since when I originally got the original 2 yr card, the letter specifically said I would not be reminded .. and wasn't, lol.

Anyway ... as to your question ... wait until you are within the 90 day window. Don't do it now.

can i go earlier on my appointment? so that my husband can give me a ride...my appointment is on 9th

congratulations for your visa! my fiance and i are still plugging away here. we got approved and are now waiting for nvc to get our stuff from uscis, ca svc ctr. lissa is a filipina and so we are gonna have to go through the notorious manila embassy for her visa. given their reputation for taking a long time to get things done, i am very interested in the shortcuts you guys have here. i of course have a question: can i have lissa appoint me as her agent to speed things up (having nvc send me stuff here in california instead of mailing things back and forth between new hampshire and mindanao)? thanks for all your great information, you have helped keep a lot of people from being driven mad by all this bureaucratic rig-a-ma-role!

got a letter from uscis today. our petition has been approved :) yay! i called lissa to let her know. we are both very excited and relieved to hear the good news. now the waiting will continue again for a while, but the hard parts over at least. thanks to everybody on this site for your info and support. it was so helpful for me and my baby. Salamat!

i got a request for additional evidence/information notification by checking the case status of our petition online. does anyone know how long this typically delays the approval of a K1 petition? thanks for any feedback or relaying your own experiences with this most unwelcome delay... our petition is filed at the cal. service center, if this makes any difference.

so now our petition date is past the current processing date on the csc list but i havent received anything yet. ho hum the waiting continues as usual.... luckily i smartened up and planned another trip to the philippines, that should help break up this infernal waiting around #######... it will be so wonderful to see my baby again. good luck everybody!

what about honolulu? anybody have that experience? we want to go to kauai and get married there, i cant wait, but you all know how that is..... ... ...

Remember, you will always catch more Bees with honey than you will with vinegar. i know its hard but we have to be patient. its one of those situations that you dont have any control over. so "kiss it up to God" as my mom would say, say a prayer, take a deep breath, and try your best to be patient. good luck
