Me and my hushband will move overseas soon.he get a job in China and that's not America company.i just got here in May 2014-and just got my first GC on October 2014.

We probably will out of US for long time (about 3 years more).and this make us wondering,am i still able to obtain citizenship under 3 year marriage?i won't work in China and we still fill tax in US.

If i still able to obtain naturalization thats great but if doesnt then i will be on tourist visa a whole life to visit my family in US (i guess?)

Would appreciate any help!thanks fellas :D

So after done with searching and everything, there is an option for me to do the labor in my home country,Indonesia.however,it's easy for me to obtain Indonesian passport for my baby.my question is,i will fly with my baby to China because we live there with my hushband(US citizen).could we obtain US passport in China or we have to obtain US passport in Indonesia since the baby born in Indonesia?thank you!

  3. Hi everyone,

here i come again :).i dont know where to post this so hopefully this is the right forum.and if not, would be more than happy for admin to move my thread :D

Ok,so there is a chance my hubby will move to another country in Asia to work.i just get my conditional greencard (for 2 years).we both worried i will not eligeble to continue ROC.we are willing back to US once a year because my hushband needs to visit his family :)

    So my question are:

1.how i maintain my gc status?is that enough to get back to US once a year?

2.am i still able to do naturalization process(N-400)?i know one of the condition is married with the same us citizen for 3 years, but is that still ok even we don't stay in US?

Thank you for your help guys!and i really need the answer asap so know what to do next

  4. Hello everyone,

I got an interview date on September, 23rd 2014 for my greencard. I already used my AR 11 form because we are moving to another state. My questions are:

    1. Can i change my interview date earlier? if so, how could i do that?

    2. Could we request service center near our area? We live in Cincinnati, Ohio now and i got the interview in Detroit, Michigan. That was our home area before we moved.

    Thanks!

    Any advice would be great!

  5. I can suggest to you:

    1. Married as soon as possible. Get the certified copy of your marriage certificate

    2. Before he arrive, you already prepare for AOS, EAD and AP document (total payment $1070). Just left the blank document that your fiance need to fill in

    3. Sent the package the day after you get your certified copy. Or if you can make the same day that would be better

The entire process will take about 1-2 months. hopefully this is help.

    Thank you mba Widi :)

I wish i can work by EAD as soon as the card come to our house.hehe

  7. Refer to page 5 of the Form I-485 instructions for specific information about accepted forms of payment:

    http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-485instr.pdf

Good luck on your immigration journey.

i was reading the instruction not couldn't find the credit card issue

Your husband can request a check in the bank that can be charged to his credit card and send it to USCIS. Hope it helps.

This give me some clear way. Even different bank? the credit card is CASE and the checking is from credit union. Thanks
