Hey I entered the US on the 16th! had no problems at all! in fact didn't even need the proof of ties. the officer asked me about my husband etc, didn't even ask about immigration. I was very scared coz I don't even have a job or lease or car registration. but I guess I was lucky to get a sweet imm office, who just said "enjoy the holidays"

btw I entered with a return ticket for after 1.5 months.

APPROVED finally, so happy ) status changed to RFE response review on 8th July and got my approval on 23rd ! only online status changed yet.

used this very cool app on my windows phone which instantly gave me a notification as soon as the status got updated online

We mailed the rfe response 3 weeks back, still not heard anything! online still shows RFE! is this normal??? USPS says it was delivered to the PO Box. should we send another package?? i had heard the online status gets updated within a week!!

Yes I did and the next day I called my lawyer and he said he didn't receive an email only I did. Did you have a lawyer or are you doing it on your own?

Also an update- my husband went for an infopass. They said the rfe response was recived, but for some reason it wasnt updated online. Also my file hasnt been put back into queue nor has has been given an rfe priority date. So the guy, who was quite helpfull put in a service request for us.

He said it is unusual that the database hasnt been updated! fingercorssed, hopfully the service request will push them to look into our file soon!!!

How long after you got the notice did you recieve the hardcopy through the mail?

It took a full week to get delivered.

Did u also get an email notification? for some reason we didnt

Did they give you like a check list of what evidence you needed to provide?

Did you track if your mail got to TSC?

ya they gave a list of examples of proof.

USPS said that the package was delivered 10 days ago getting worried now.. since the status hasnt changed i guess that means its not in the system yet. Hope its not gotten lost.

Im planing to travel too on a B2 visa thou. dont have a job, hopefully the i130 paperwork and bank account papers and investments should be proof enough that I will go back! fingers crossed!!

NVC would take on average 2 weeks to process RFEs. But I have seen them taking 3 or 4 weeks, too. So give them another couple of days and then call to find out.

okay! we are still on the uSCIS stage. We have been tryng to call for the last couple of day, but not managing to get through, they keep us on hold for hours!

I'm sure it depends. You can always call to check on the status and to see if it was, indeed, received.
