I will be US citizen soon, maybe next week, or a little bit later. So I can apply Green card for my parents. They will arrive U.S. end of Auguest. Some people says they need to wait for 60 days before submit the I-130 and I-485. But I read some articles said the direct family members, such as parents and children, do not need to wait for 60 days. And USCIS will not consider them lie when they unter US.

Anyone did the similar application within 60 days, and were not questioned by USCIS? Thank you!

Thanks. I told the lady on the phone, that i planned an oversea trip in Auguest and September, want to have the passport done by then. She put a notes on my case. I know this will not help, but just feel better.

I submet a case inquery of case outside of normal processing time.

i really have no commends to citizenship office. I was suppost to go interview on June 3, 2015, which is way late then most people. yesterday I got an phone call to say that they have to cancel my interview and reschedule it, because my case is still in process, not sent to local office yet. and did not give me any estimation how long i have to wait. really pissed off by those officers.

just got the notice, that my interview is June 3. So I dont think I can Oath till July.

The USCIS website is not reliable and the CSR on the 800 number just read what they see on the website as well. Not helpful at all. my Field office. According to the website, USCIS since the last update had processed applications for June 19, 2014 applicants. However, I had applied in November 2014 and completed my interview last Thursday. So you should not rely on that update solely. Let's vross fingers and hope you get it soon. Good luck!

On March 5, 2015, we started the interview scheduling process for your Form N-400

called USCIS today, the answer was they are currently processing the application received on May 17, 2014. So I need to wait for anorther 5 months. This is rediculous, and if no emergency, there is no wasy to expedite this process.

eventually received an email: On March 5, 2015, we scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization , Receipt Number NBC**********. We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice.

hope to receive the letter next week. And really need to study now.

the call center told me they were processing cases for May, 2014, but when I check online, it is just April, 2014. My application receive date is 10/31/2014. bio, 2014-11-25, and got in-line letter around 12/12/2014. Now still waiting. just noticed no one in Seattle area got interview these days. Really wondering what they are doing.

just called the Seattle, WA office, they are currently working on the applications submitted in May. it looks like it runs behind in Seattle.
