First off was not aware or family with sending your application to the NVC before an actual service center. Based on the Nebraska Center there was really nothing much but my wait. My application was submitted transferred to Nebraska. I have 3 cases all under 21 yrs from December and last priority date as of January 2,2014.

I recv'd my NOA1 with days of being transferred to Nebraska. I finally got the approval 1st one on with priority date Jan 2nd as of June 27th and the other 2 cases as of July 1st. They are now en route to NVC.

Once you receive your NOA1 you basically wait like the rest of us till approval. I was on the 6 month for approval.

Hi all hope all is well. I just wanted to put in my contribution as I have depended on others info as well. I have gotten 3 approvals from the Nebraska service center for my kids. I will listed below accordingly.....

Son (17yrs) date accepted per site: Dec 23rd 2013 approval on July 1st

Step Son (19yrs) date accepted: Dec 26th approval July 1st

Daughter (20yrs) date accepted: January 2nd approval June 25th per USCIS site as of June 27th sent to NVC

I hope this helps to anyone it maybe useful to....I will update as I go along

Hi Aleful thank you for the info much appreciated...my daughter will have to do the same thing I had to do when I migrated she already know and accept it.....It is a hard thing for any parent to do but it has to be done as I am doing my part for her and she will have to do for hers....Can you help on the other questions by chance?

Hello to all!!

It has been a pleasure discovering this site seeing every one coming together as one. I have just started my visa journey for my children:

20 yr old (daughter with a 4 month baby)

19 yr old (step son)

16 yr old (son)....I would appreciate any information,pointers,expectations, critics I am open to all to better help me in this process....

I mailed out my forms 12/20/13 expected arrival 12/23/13 and the journey begins. I just have some questions please:

1) Is it true I can not file for my grand daughter? I did of course add her on the form as requested

2) Does the age freeze when submitted? My daughter is turning 21 yrs 10/17/14

3) When are you ask for the AOS? I am not understanding the poverty guideline if it means my income must be at the level to be in accordance?

4) Is unemployment considered income? I recv'd severance ending March 2013 and started unempl but started working Oct 2013

5) what is the expected time frame for the process?

6) What is considered assets apart from cash?

About me: USC (naturalize), husband LPR married before step son turned 18 (4yrs ago) been together 17yrs...Husband and myself are both from Saint Lucia (caribbean)....current house hold size is 3 hubby,myself,14yr daughter
