Thank you guys! They have a lot of options to go about approving your credit card so hope to get one by the end of this year. Really excited to go to SSA tomorrow to see how long it will last for them to update my last name. If I manage to get DL this year it'll make my year!
For the green card interview I really believe it will be sometime in February for me cos the Chula Vista office processes I-485 in 4 months. Pretty quick for this process! Haven't received any RFE's yet so I assume the application package is complete.
For you to have a credit history, have your spouse add you as an authorized user on a credit card. My husband added me as authorized user on his credit cards more than 6 months ago. Last month I got approved for a Capital One credit card on my own and also a Kohls charge card. This month I was also able to request my own credit report from Experian.

GC Expedite Request Update: Denied
I expedited the GC due to drivers license issue in SC but then again denied since the reason isn't that urgent.
So I think I would have to walk with video and post it to youtube so they could see or take a picture maybe.
Although I have my EAD but without DL it's still harder again.
Looked up SC dmv website. It says there if you have work authorization you can apply for DL.
http://www.scdmvonline.com/dmvnew/default.aspx?n=accepted_forms_of_identification
Just research more about it and print it for documentation so you can show it to the DMV personnel.

Me too. I am happy for those who got their eads approved already but I am also jealous. Huhuhu

I didn't think the "report" button could be used for such things. I only ever used the report feature for objectionable material, as what this says when you click "report" :
This form is to be used ONLY for reporting objectionable content and is not to be used as a method of communicating with moderators for other reasons.
That's what I said in my PM to TBone too. Hehehe.. I think they will have to revise it.

I could guess that feeling. My interview is dec 8th and I can't wait till it's over. Right now I just trying to put together us much evidence possible and working a lot keeping my self busy. Plus me and my wife is going on vacation the week before the interview so we can relax a little. This is so stressful. If u don't mind we ask what branch is ur interview?
Arthur, when did you do your biometrics? Updating our little database here. Heheh.. And also, did you get your EAD/AP card already?

Today I updated my resume and looked at available jobs in my area. I also looked for work at home jobs. I wish they would just approve my EAD soon, it's ok with me even if they take a long time processing my greencard.

Just checked our case status and the EAD card has been created and mailed.
Also AP has been approved. Now we can go to the Philippines for Christmas or maybe the Bahamas

Also called several civil surgeons here in Albany, NY area and was told the same thing. I found an email address of one of the civil surgeons and sent her an email explaining I came on K1 visa and said that I don't need physical exam. She emailed me back saying to call her clinic for an appointment and to tell the receptionist she said its just for transcription. I paid $85 for transcription and it was very quick. The receptionist and nurse in the clinic didn't know that it was OK for K1s not to get a physical exam. I completed my follow up shots and my missing TDAP from the county health clinic since it was cheaper there.
If anyone needs a transcription in the Albany area pm me for details.

The dates on my cases on their website are back to normal. Yesterday it was different.
I forgot Game of Thrones on the list. Lol
We didn't get cable because we are trying to save so I watch a lot of Netflix and Hulu shows. Once in a while we watch movies in the cinema or rent DVD from Redbox.

Got the interview waiver letter last March I think and still no news about my greencard. Sigh.... My aunt who got married in California this year (2015) already got her greencard (interview route). Ughh.. tired of waiting.
