I kept skipping past everything including the document upload and it let me save. Either way, you don't need to do it.

on each page there three options

back , exit , and next

how can I skip?

I updated my address and that was it. You don't need to upload your passport to do that. You don't need to fill in the profile section at all in all honesty. They get all the info from the huge package you gave to them at the POE.

Hi,

It wasn't updated at all until today. I'm thinking either my packet got put on an incredibly slow/overworked employee's desk, or it was misfiled somewhere and found recently. I called USCIS and spoke to a Tier 2 officer about a week or two ago to ask what the hold-up was, and he told me to have patience and call back on March 10th if I hadn't had it by then. I like to think that got things moving lol

Yes, my case status had that message from Dec 24 2014 until today. It took a lot longer than what I have seen to be the average. My case on ELIS was Optimized from Dec 24 2014 and still is right now, but the date has updated to today's. I expect and hope it will finally go to Closed in about a week's time.

mine has been updated 4 times but still shows process and the tracker shows the message i gave you previously.

Today I did a Case Status. Card Is Being Produced
On March 3, 2015, we began producing your new card for your Form OS155A, Immigrant Visa and Alien Registration, Receipt Number IOE**********. We will mail your card to the address you gave us. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

The only thing, is that my wife has not gotten an actual letter in the mail about the case that supposedly was mailed February 20, 2015 nor the welcoming letter. I know that at the Juarez Consulate before the interview the verified her USA address and also at the port of entry because I was with her when she turned in the packet. Has anyone gotten the green card and never the letters that they supposedly sent?

Where can I find the tracking number for the green card?

Once in optimized the case status doesnt change untik the card is produced.

You have no timeline. I dont know when you arrived, when you paid the fee, etc... you make it hard to help with no dates.

We dont even know your visa type!

immigrant visa, it is 5 weeks since poe and the fee was paid about 7 weeks before POE.

That is the exact same thing that happened to my case. For some reason, it took a while for my case to be complete. I had to call my congressman who did a follow up, within hours after his follow up, it was complete. I would not worry yet. My status date did NOT change at all until my congressman did the follow up.

how long did it take you from poe to receiving card?

did you receive the receipt notice ? Do you mind let me know at lease the main point of its content .i cannot wait to receive mine

did they ask you to sent any extra document more what was in the package that the embassy gave it to you?

why is the file in a lockbox? what is lockbox?

Is this a problem or is this normal???

Did anyone else see this on their status?

During the period of time that the case stuck on optimized, can any update on the status date,of case summary be observed?or there is no change on status date of case summary.

Well, wish I could say the same. I entered October 22nd and still no sign of my card. Status stuck on Optimized (in process). When I call USCIS they say card is awaiting verification. Does anyone know what that is and how long it takes?

I had my medical exam in Dubai at new medical center in deira. I didnt know the name of the physician as the nurse just called me up and accompanied me in the doctor's room. The physician didnt ask me to undress. She just use her stethoscope to check. The clinic in Dubai is open during saturdays. Normally, people make appointment but they also accomodate those who walk in if there not much patients waiting.

Went to New Medical Center. Physician just asked questions regarding my health history. She checked my eyes, mouth, breathing and tummy. During xray the technician asked me to change to lab gown. They usually release the result after 4 days but i guess you can get it sooner if u are running out of time. I knew someone who got her result the day after her medical as her interview date was 2 days later. Hope it helps...

Just finished my medical exam. It took like 4 hrs including the waiting time. I did blood test, xray, and a vaccine shot. Result will be ready on the 26th. Have u done yours yet? Goodluck!
