Official NOA2 8-12-2014. Notification of shipment 8-19-2014. But I read in a thread that someone called NVC 2 weeks after NOA2 & they confirmed they received it from USCIS & gave him his Case # & then told him to call back 1 week later to verify it left NVC to the consulate abroad. So maybe I should just got ahead & wait till Tuesday, 8-26-2014 before calling to verify NVC received it from USCIS.

But some of people's cases do get shipped once they received NOA2...in your case it's on AUGUST 19TH....it's totally different because they didn't send your case on same day you received NOA2..If i were you I'D call 8 days after it has been shipped..I don't count Sundays...so you should called in on THURSDAY...advice

We got approved on July 29, 7 days and will reach one month.. Still no mnl number.. Plus my fiancé is annoying.. He doesn't want to call nvc. He doesn't want to stress himself by calling ?

Your case update should say something like it has been shipped to Department of State or National Visa Center....start calling starting from the date of it been shipped...wait 8 days and then tell your fiance to call...of course NVC will send you a hardcopy stating your case has been shipped..that's what i read somewhere...

If 8 days is true, then they should already have my Case #, as it's been 10 days for me. Regardless, I don't need the Case # right now & was planning to give them 14 days anyway, so I'll just continue my plan of calling them Tuesday. Well maybe I'll call later as I see they have long hours & it's recommended to call late.

We drove up to Montreal the night before our interview.. but with all the stuff we had to do during the day and my crappy out dated gps.. we didn't get there until about 11:00pm-11:30pm.. I was EXHAUSTED.. from the stress... from the drive.. fromw orking all day etc.. I was CRANKY.. lol Nathan wanted to grab some food/ see Montreal a bit. All I wanted to do was sleep lol. But I got changed and we walked down the street to try and find him some food.. We got turned away by about 6-7 places.. turns out everywhere closed at 11... With every person that turned us away... I got crankier and crankier.. I was so tired.. my feet hurt from my shoes...not my best moment. We were walking down to try one last place.. and Nathan looked at me..in my eyes.. in all my crankiness and said "Hey.... we are here together." And it was like he just reached out and smacked the cranky right off my heart... He was right. It is so important to enjoy the experience. He is by far the most amazing man I have ever met.. and my person.

Now that we are approved.. I find myself sitting at work.. thinking about my husband to be.. and my heart starts to beat a little faster.. and my eyes just fill with the happiest of tears,, I feel so unbelievably blessed.

The wait was hell.. but so worth it. I can't wait to start our next chapt... Best of luck everyone. Sorry for the cheese.

We just called in yesterday to NVC...and they told us our case has been received yesterday (after 8 days)...and to call in a few weeks but i told my fiance to not wait but to actually call tonight...and they just gave us our case number.... a day later woohooo

Hey you guys, my case and SIGUDEP81's case has been shipped on the same day *AUGUST 13TH* and just yesterday we both called and NVC told us our case has been RECEIVED. ( 8 days )...NVC told us we should give them a couple of weeks or whatnot...but SIGUDEP81 called today (day later) and he received his case number..My fiance is also calling today, and so he's on hold.Wish us luck!!!

i just called NVC tonight, i got our approval Aug.5, NVC CSR told me that they just got our case and suggested we may call them anytime this week. I think you should try calling them.

I have been approved on July 24th then RE-approved on August 6....Then, on August 13th, I finally received an update stating case has been shipped to NVC...Fiance called and still not yet received..

My fiancé moved to his new apartment. I just don't know if he changed his address to uscis website. Will that affect the process? The last update was they sent it to nvc..

I was wrong. I just got this identical update & now know that they didn't ship the case to NVC the day I got NOA2. They shipped it today.

I am having some trouble with my K1 visa status adjustment. My wife has refused to file my adjustment of status and my K1 visa entry is expiring on sep 13 2014.

Is there any other way where i can apply for my adjustment of status; if my wife does not apply. Please respond.

Please note I was married in USA June 17 2014 and have my SSN with me.

Many of us are curious to finding out why doesn't she want to file for AOS? Does she believe you just want the papers? Does she feel that after you get what you want, you will divorce her? Is she not in love?

Hi everyone my name is Fernando and I have a concern that I was hoping someone could help me with.

This is the thing, I've been trying to get an appointment in the U.S. embassy in caracas Venezuela for a tourist Visa, I paid the RMV and the 10$ that the on line service require, since 5 days ago I've been trying to get the apointment but everytime I try I look at the message "there are no available apointments at this time".

There's one seccion on the page that says that "if you can't see the continue button try again later", I've read that in some other embassies they fill month blocks of appointments, and open the next period of time when this are full at a certain date.

I would really like to know if anyone have anhy experience or information about this, I'll still trying but I would like to know if there's a moment in a short term until I can get this apointment, thanks in advance for the information.

And another question, the results can be the same if I try via telephone? I haven't done that yet because there's another payment involve is 24 bucks.

Hi, I believe to schedule a Medical Appointment here in Venezuela, we should have 1st the Embassy letter stating our Interview date. That's one of the requirements with one of the doctors..don't know about the other.

Hmm it's confusing. It says Post decision Activity on the headline! But then you just shared that message that confuses me. Though, it says case returned? Maybe, it means they will return it to TSC... Why don't you contact USCIS?

It's been three weeks since We got approved.. And my fiancé doesn't want to call to nvc. He told me not to frustrate myself by calling -.- that annoys me but I refused to argue with him..

What does the priority date means??

NVC keeps giving my fiance a busy signal..the P.D (priority date) is basically the priority date is the file/acceptance date (NOA1)
