Some embassies require this. However, If I were you, I would wait until I am told to complete a Ds 260 form.Although my sister and I had completed the ds230 many years ago before our interview, I was instructed to complete a ds260 form but my sister did not need to do so. We had our interviews at different embassies and have since then received our green cards months ago. I hope this helps you and any other person out there. Wait until you are told to do so!

There is no reason you shouldn't get it soon. According to them, they are still scheduling the interviews so hang in there. For me am already looking towards next 2 months and running my life as usual:-)

Could the delay be to the Kiev embassy being busy? Some other factor Im not aware of? Really hoping it comes today or tomorrow.

I will just chime in here, that my PD is 22MAR07 and still waiting for I/L.

I have NOT called the NVC yet, maybe wednesday (june 4) I will call them. Will report back when letter arrives.

Walfredo 2 people have receieved theirs in the F1 thread. Pds March 30 and March 27. You may need to call the NVC for yours. Mine is April 6 and it seems it would be a one week movement as they said no visa available for me. Really dissappointing but what can one do.

I thought so too Cassanoa. They would normally say something like what you said so it probably means that I am going to be current 'hopefully'. My pd is April 6th. You should definitely get ready with pd being much closer;-) All the best to you!
