  1. I just checker online on the USCIS website and I entered my receipt number and they said

"Card/Document Production"; " On August 22, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service."

So it is good right? I got it right? :dancing:

  2. He took our pictures that we provided. Also, he copied our passeports, ID, licesensed dog, bill of furniture that we bought, and the car that we recently purchased. The only problem is that the addresss in the pink slip was his parents not ours. On the contrary, some of the information that we provided was at my parents place and our place, but most important documents such as: rental agreement, license dog, and USCIS Letter that we changed our address to where we are living now. Do you recommend i send the electricity bill to them or gas? We answered all the questions spot on how we met etc. but just had trouble in area listed above. Makes me anxious. I just hope there isnt any négative news.

Thanks for your response. I greatly appreciate it.

  3. Hi everybody,

We had our interview this morning and I can't say it wen't well, but it didnt go bad either. Basically, I'm just anxious to find out what the answer is or atleast have some positive insight you guys can provide. We walk in the room and he asks us some questions on who, where, when, and why questions, but when it came down to providing information that we live together is where our problems started. We only had the rental contract that we lived together but we couldnt provide electricity(dont know why i didnt bring it). Also, we provided that we had a dog licensed in this location. And at the end I showed him the letter that I got from the USCIS about the fact that I called to let them know that we moved in our own place not his parents. He didn't stamp my Passaport nor didn't he give me an answer that I was approved, so what do you guys think???

  4. Thank you so much for your answers,

I just got the mail for the USCIS and my appointment for the interview is on May 14th.

I have a quick question about that: When I arrived in California, me and my husband were living at his parents place but we moved out in our appartement now. The problem is that when we filled the documents for the AOS we put his parents address and we dont know if we should tell them that we change the address because I got the mail one month after sending my documents, so they could wonder if I knew that I would move out when I filled the documents. If someone can give me advice?

    thank you.

  5. Hi,

I am currently in USA and I am waiting for the AOS. I sent all the documents and waiting for the interview.

My question is: Can I get a californian driving license while I am waiting for the green card? Because I know I can use my French driving license for three months (during tourist/waiver visa) but My tourist/waiver visa is already expired. Does anyone have a solution for me?

    Thank you

  6. You need to send I-130, I-485 and also you should send -131 and I-765( AP and EAD) so you can travel and work while waiting. I think its best to send before your stay expires but it ll be forgiven if you send it after your stay expires. I got my green card in 4 months. And you didn't get I-94 its no problem, just make sure you ll send copy of your passport with stamp from airport. Make sure you have everything that those forms require so you don't get RFE ( request for evidence). You will also need to have medical exam that has to be submitted with the AOS.

Thank you so much for your answer

  7. Hi,

I came in USA with a waiver visa to visit my boyfriend. We got married and now we are filing the different forms for the AOS.

The fact that I came with a waiver visa I didnt get the I-94 form that they are talking about in the AOS papers. Is it a problem?

Do I have to send all the papers before the end of my waiver visa?

How long does it take to get the green card?

Sorry for my English but I am French.

    Thank you.
