  1. Part 1 of the I-485 is all about the person who is wanting to adjust there status the visitor, question 16 on the I-765 is C 9 as you fileing Adjustment of status, if you look in the instructions for the I-765 it's all their, now the I-131 if you need to travel out of the US for an emergency why you are waiting for you AOS to be sorted,it let's you get back into the US, if you travel out of the US without a AP or a green card you cannot return & the USCIS will take it you have abandoned your AOS. The forms I-485, I-765, I-131 are filed in by the visitor the person who is wanting to Adjust there Status, as the questions are mainly about them.

Thanks Brian for responding so quickly. Now my next question for the I-684 the medical form. Not sure if that's the correct number but do u get the exam done before u send in the form or do they tell u when to go?

  2. Hi yes it's A in sec 2, & as you are sending both together you don't have to worry about an approval for the I-130 at this stage. Are you also including I-131 Advance Parole, & I-765 Employment Authorization Document with your I-130 & I-485,

    Brian

Also is the I-485 information in section 1 about the us citizen or the visitor? and what is 1-131 form?

Also for the i-765 how do you fill out question 16, like where do you look up what you are supposed to put there

  3. I need to fill out all the correct paperwork for the Adjustment of Status Paperwork so my husband can get a green card. He is here on a visitor visa and we had gotten married last week. Someone had posted the link on assembling the 1-130 form and the i-485 form. I see they are 2 different packets, one of my questions is that for both packets it asks to fill out G25A form, asks for a certified copy of your marriage license, along with certified divorce papers. Do you have to submit these for both packets or only for at least one. I am so confused on what type of order i a suppose to submit these forms in and exactly what forms, i guess its because i dont exactly know the meaning of the forms and the purpose. If there is someone that can help me or even maybe become a friend on here that went through the same process i would greatly appreciate it. I dont want to have to go through an attorney but i am very confused.

    Thanks in advance!

  4. I had just gotten married to husband who is here on a visitor visa from Haiti and we want to fie all the paperwork for him to get a green card. Do you suggest using an attorney, due to the fact we married here on a visitor visa. I had spoken with an attorney who said we could do this, only the fees are very costly and wanted to see if we could get around not having to use one. Thanks!

  5. I am having a hard time filing this form out. I had just gotten married to my husband here in the united states and is here on a visitor visa I am applying for him to get a green card. Please help!!

  6. My boyfriend currently has a Haitian visitor visa, we want to apply for a K-1 visa. How do we begin the process? He is currently staying in the Dominican Republic can we go through Dominican Republic to apply or does it have to be through Haiti? If we have to go through Haiti would I have to go to the Haitian Embassy for an interview with him or can he go himself?
