Finally, my I-751 status changed to card in production yesterday. Never got an approval letter. I actually called USCIS on November 8, since my application is out of normal processing time and they've requested SR for me and told me an IO will call me within 3-5 days. And the following day it shows card in production thank God.

I agree with Lemon23, I spoke to Immigration officer today because I changed my address. So it also gave me a chance to check the status of my application which will be 1 year tomorrow. So, he told me CSC is a little slow and I will need to wait for 1.5month more and also, I asked him if I need a stamp and he told me, if I would like to have stamp I can but not necessary if i will not travel out of US or if My employer needs it, other than the two mentioned he told me I should be fine even after expiry and not having my passport stamp.

When we've notified of changes in address, we've done it online for my wife since she could, and I as the sponsor used the paper sponsor form because that's the only sponsor option.
It does seem to be a good idea to call USCIS after a couple weeks and/or stop by for an InfoPass, if you can, to make sure the new address actually got entered into the system properly.

I am going to file for a change of address but I am wondering which receipt number did you use? Looks like there are two receipts which is one for I-751 & CRI89. Which one should I use? Did you file it online and hard copy? I am actually worried because my ROC will hit one year this coming July 29 and I didn't have any updates on my application yet and if approval will come soon(hoping, sigh), I am worried that it might be mailed to my old address. I just move today to the new address.

Just got the call back from USCIS officer. really not informative at all and sounded very annoyed with the questions i was making him.
First he placed me on hold because of the receipt number on my I-797 NOA apparently was incorrect or/ when they create/receive Form CRI-89 they create a new one receipt number and i will have to use the new number if i want to see my case at my case status on USCIS web or when i call them.
Then i asked him how was my biometrics interview? Second long hold for him to comeback and say still waiting for it to be scheduled. Asked why was it taking that long if there was any problem (note: i was very cordial and at any p[oint was rude or raised my voice), now in a very pissed voice the answer was you will just have to wait for it to be scheduled. and did tried to get more answers but he was annoyingly stating i'll just need to wait for the letter i'll receive with the scheduled appointment.
Really feeling depressed (just had my son by the way and all this stress is not helping, not to mention sleepless nights due to a newborn)
Congrats to your new baby, when I called I only spoke to customer service representative and she was so very helpful. You will have your schedule soon since you already gave them heads up on your application. God bless

Hi SilverLake, yes, I did called last 2nd wk of September since my application is more than a month and no biometric schedule at all. I spoke to the customer service only not the tier 1 and she was so nice and she put in a service request for me and told me to wait in 15days should be able to get the biometric schedule (which I did received yesterday). Everyone I encourage you all to call, otherwise, our application will be sitting somewhere..

I mailed my case July 15th and my NOA1 was July 18 I haven't received my Biometrics yet....so its been more than a month for me with nothing from USCIS. Lets wait Patiently hopefully we will get something in the mail this week. Look at the CSC timeline we have with other users so u will know where u stand.

Hi, I have a question and I am a i-751 july filer too CSC, l mailed my form on July 27 and my NOA was on July 29. I am a little worried since its been a month from NOA and I still did not get a schedule for biometrics. Should I need to call the CSC or does anybody is on the same boat as me? ?

Hi, that's great that you are doing some survey prior to your entry and it will be of great help to prepare yourself. As for my experienced , I was working in construction industry for 10+years as CE. When I got here it was quite hard for me to be able to land a job on my expertise or of all the applications I have submitted I only had one interview related to my qualification and experience (unfortunately, I didn't get the job for the reason that I should know all the state/federal requirements in construction). So this means, the industry knowledge and experience is in the US market.. Doing my own research I still need to upgrade my qualification and education aside from that I have to take engineering licensure exam in Hawaii (but this varies to every State) to be able to practice my field. Maybe some VJ's members here got really lucky and had easy transition or who knows it might be a good one for you as well. It actually varies considering the state, education, experience and etc it just a matter of timing and patience.I did some survey through Indeed & Monster, but all the Sales & Marketing job need min "X" years industry knowledge and experience. I have in total 10 years of Business Development experience (5 years of Account Client Servicing in Consumer Goods & 5 years of Sales & Marketing in Consumer Products and Services), I don't mind to start from junior executive position but seems like the "industry knowledge and experience" means in the US market to me.
1) Anyone here can share some of your job hunting experience?
2) Your interview experienced? If any difficulty as an immigrant?
3) Is better to apply job through job's site or through agent?
4) Anyone considering a change of profession? If this is common here in the US?
5) Any job is easy for immigrants to apply?

Fellow VJ's please correct me if I am wrong and this is my own view only. If you use the word "executive" here regardless if it's junior or senior it does means a chief, senior managerial or CEO position. In which your country or SG meaning you are executing your role as a "ACS or whatever role given to a person". The junior executive here probably equivalent to entry level. Other may input about it.
Now I have a new job and that's 360degree change of profession and totally a new learning for me. But hey we all came here (US )to be with our other half so getting whatever decent jobs is a bonus.

It depends how busy the USCIS local office is. Which USCIS local office is processing your I-485?

Hi everyone, just curious because my I-485 status changed to testing and interview last July 9 and yet until now I did not receive any notice that they will going to schedule an interview and or interview date. It's been 42days since status changed to testing and interview? Should I need to worry and call USCIS? Most of June filers I guess got interview schedule already. Appreciate your help.

Hi fellow VJ's member. I am kinda lost as I am not exactly what paperworks to do after marriage? And what are the attachements and other necessary documents asside from marraige certificate? Like for I-485, I-131, & I-765 should I submit all in a hard copy to USCIS? And should I submit it to the same USCIS where my K1 was previously submitted eg. California Service Center?

When you finish the seminar, which takes about half a day to complete, and if you have your visa with you, they will affix the sticker and give you the certificate of completion. After that, your free to leave the country. If you do not have your visa, then you will have to return to either CFO Offices located in Manila, Cebu or NAIA with your certificate to have the sticker affixed to your passport.

Nope.. I got 221(g) as well and asked me to submit the certified divorce copy since it was the only documents they want me to provide after the interview. All other original documents were provided to them during the interview. And if they asked you to register to ARamex then do it. After they receive the original I-34 they will send you email to drop your passport to ARamex. Keep your faith and who knows it will be your early Christmas present after all.. Good luck
