  1. I have a question. Why would with my wife need to bring a cenomar when we are already married?

She needs her CEMAR (advisory on marriage). She can secure the doc at the NSO. Also, the interview questions are pretty basic. The petitioner's date of birth, his job, when you first met. They didn't ask me to present anything. None. Not the cemar, nor our photos. My interview with the American consul took 2 minutes. Good luck!

  2. Hey guys! I'm new here and would appreciate any feedback re: my case.

My husband (an LPR then) and I got married in 2011. He stayed in my home country for a month. Unfortunately, we didn't get to travel because for the most part of his vacay, I was sick (i had a flu for weeks). Also, he never got to visit me again since then, because he's always in between jobs.

We filed our I-130 in July (since he became a USC in May). We received our NOA1 a few days after filing, and are eagerly waiting for our NOA2. My question is, since my husband hasn't gone back to visit me since we got married, could that raise a red flag which could ultimately lead to his petition being denied?

My mother wasn't at our wedding (only his father and sister, and a couple of friends), and we dont have a lot of photographic evidence, but we have tons of chat logs, remittance receipts, greeting cards, and we could get an affidavit from our friends. Are these things enough proof or do we need more?
