Just to clarify
I am petitioning for my husband but i have also two unmarried children under 21 that i need to bring in the US. My question is file I-130 for my husband and when the case reaches NVC, add my two children??...so it means only one I-130 form and $420 fee for my husband petition?...that's my understanding..correct me if im wrong please!..thanks a lot!

Case Complete since April 3rd. My mom has interview on May 5th at 0615. The appointment letter said to bring all the original documents including the NBI clearance. My question is, Does my mom needs to bring all the original documents even though we already sent that to NVC? Any help will greatly appreciate. Thanks!

Happy New Year everyone, so after a month and 3 days
Post Decision Activity
On December 23, 2013, we shipped this approved or re-affirmed case to the Department of State for visa processing. For more information, please contact them directly.
Why they processed it like that?..my petition was approved at dec 11th and got this status dec.13th...Weird!!

Because you had your name changed when you get married so that's why they are asking for your marriage certificate. Just send the RFE and after few days, you will get approval.

Received online status thay they sent the approved or re-affirmed to Department of State for visa processing..is that means they sending it to NVC?

Received the hard copy of RFE today..they wanting an evidence that my mother is my real mom...they asking for church records, school records, hospital record, affidavit from two person or anything i can give..no problem!..i can provide all that...also, i think they messed up as well so that's they are asking for rfe bcoz it also said on the letter to describe the relationship of my brother to my mom bcoz they said that i put on my application that me and my brother were born two months apart..lol!..i reviewed the form that i sent and its clearly i put the correct bday...anyway, they are only human!..they make mistakes!..all i can do now is to provide the documents they want and my brother birthcertcate and the explanation..goodluck in our journey!and keep positive attitude!

My family in the Philippines are okay. They are so far from the calamities happened in Visayas. I am not requesting to expedite it. I am just thankful they are okay. I guess I just need to wait for the letter to find out. I will let you guys know what is the RFE. Thanks a lot!

I sent:
I-130 form
Correct Fee
Copy of my Naturalization
Copy of my US Passport
Copy of my birth-cert (English)
Copy of my mother birth-cert (English)
I didn't sent the copy of my marriage certificate because I'm her son. We have the same last name, and I didn't change my name. I'm wondering what could be the RFE. Waiting is killing me.

I have been reading here in VJ for the last month and finally made an account today. Here's my situation.
I filed I-130 for my mother on Feb. 18, 2013 and my case was transferred to Nebraska. Received an update through online that they are "Request for Evidence".. I have no idea what they are requesting for evidence for until I will receive the letter. Do anybody here has any idea what kind of Request for evidence petition filed for mother?.. Thank you so much!
