Hello. Tomorrow is my wife’s interview at UCSIS in Chatsworth CA for US Citizen. Does she need to study the whole manual? Any questions we need to expect?
-
Good afternoon. Noob here. I am going to mail the N400 form to USCIS. To make sure I send it correctly, do i need two passport photos for my wife and since I am in Calfornia, what is the correct USCIS address to mail the form and requirements?

What’s your local office?
I’m in San Antonio. I filed on paper. We received my husband’s interview notice prior to some VJ users filing online at a similar time. I suggest doing some research for your local office. Go to immigration timelines for N-400 and search for your particular office. Then you can see how quickly online cases are moving compared to others.
Los Angeles, CA.

Is it faster or reliable than mail? Also, can I pay the fee online like a credit card instead of mailing check?

She is eligible to apply after 3 years of LPR status if she is still married to the spouse who sponsored her K1, or after 5 years of LPR status is she is no longer married to that person. Application window opens 90 days before each date. There is no “best” time.. each person decides when or if they apply
I am the spouse who did her k1. So I can apply now, right?
Also, any tips? Do I need to submit more evidence? Also, I make two separate checks. One is for biometrics and other is for the application fee, yes? Any more forms I need to work on aside from n400? Sorry for asking.

Hello. Sorry for asking. I just want to clarify before I submit the requirements. My wife got her permanent Greencard last 4/26/2014 and her remove for status on 6/2016. When can she apply for US Citizenship or when is the best time to apply?
-
Yes, congratulations, and praise the lord.
Nice. Haha
But when I called USCIS, they told me they are still processing OCT and NOV and our submission time was Feb 06. Does it mean it sped up?

Hello. I checked the case status for I751 and it states
A new card is being processed. We will mail new card etc.... Form CRI89.
Does it mean my wife got approved?

What about tax returns evidencing filing as married? Insurance policies? joint credit cards? 401k? Joint car titles? Life insurance policies?
Drivers licenses/State IDs evidencing same address?
No tax return but I got the driver's license, 401k beneficiary, and a statement that my wife is the primary beneficiary for life insurance. I can get the joint car titles. I do not have joint credit cards. We have our own.

Affidavits are pretty weak evidence.
Make sure to provide all bank statements since the joint account was open in order to show ongoing.
You should include more evidence such as: joint tax returns filing married, health insurance policies, auto insurance policies, utility bills, joint lease agreements, a couple photos.
Searching the forum will give you more info as to what evidence you can submit as well.
I have a problem about utility bills. We do not have bills that share the same name together because we live at my parents house. I do not have joint lease agreements. Are there other more evidence? I got the photos and plane tickets. I kinda lack the evidence...
I can submit all my bank statements from 2013. If the due date is on April 15 2016, I can submit my info on February, right?

Hello guys. I am going to submit the evidence of Form I-751. These are the evidence I have.
a) Joint bank accounts
b) Plane tickets that we traveled together
c) affidavit from family and friends
Is there anything I am missing in terms of evidence or would this suffice?

For question part 3 where do you want this travel doc sent? What is the answer?

Wait so the supporting documents need 2 passport photos , photo copy of passport and official ID only?

Wait so the supporting documents need 2 passport photos , photo copy of passport and official ID only?

I see. And what supporting documents do i need for i 131 again?
-
If I'm going to fill up I 131, what should I fill for part 3 to 7? We don't plan to travel or when to travel at all. Help me.
-
If I only apply the Aos with i 765 but no i131, the fee is still $1070, right?
-
We are not planning to leave the country soon. Can I file it with EAD but no I 131? If so, will there be an extra charge?
-
By my idiocy, I gave the wrong alien number last 2 months ago on my I 693 form. Before I submit my AOS, do i have to make updated corrections on AOS? Is there another fee?
-
If she uses the maiden name on the i 693 form, would that cause an issue for adjustment of status?
-
Ok, we just got married last 11/17 and we have not received the marriage certificate yet. When filling up the I 693 form, should my wife use my last name?

3. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?
If you were admitted as a:
a. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or as a
b. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and
c. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:
(1) You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination, and the medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition, or if you did have a Class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility and have complied with the terms and conditions on the waiver.
(2) Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you are required to submit the vaccination record and page 1 of Form I-693.
Our interview is on Tuesday with no RFE. EAD arrived last week
Question, did you have a civil surgeon submit an I 693 form or no?
-
Ok if you send that ds 3025, can you still get the work permit while waiting for the green card? What are the worst case scenarios?
-
hi, i got the same problem . but i will send my AOS without i-693 form.
Really? Why would you do that?
