    What’s your local office?

I’m in San Antonio. I filed on paper. We received my husband’s interview notice prior to some VJ users filing online at a similar time. I suggest doing some research for your local office. Go to immigration timelines for N-400 and search for your particular office. Then you can see how quickly online cases are moving compared to others.

    Los Angeles, CA.

She is eligible to apply after 3 years of LPR status if she is still married to the spouse who sponsored her K1, or after 5 years of LPR status is she is no longer married to that person. Application window opens 90 days before each date. There is no “best” time.. each person decides when or if they apply

I am the spouse who did her k1. So I can apply now, right?

Also, any tips? Do I need to submit more evidence? Also,  I make two separate checks. One is for biometrics and other is for the application fee, yes? Any more forms I need to work on aside from n400? Sorry for asking.

  3. What about tax returns evidencing filing as married? Insurance policies? joint credit cards? 401k? Joint car titles? Life insurance policies?

Drivers licenses/State IDs evidencing same address?

No tax return but I got the driver's license, 401k beneficiary, and a statement that my wife is the primary beneficiary for life insurance. I can get the joint car titles. I do not have joint credit cards. We have our own.

  4. Affidavits are pretty weak evidence.

Make sure to provide all bank statements since the joint account was open in order to show ongoing.

You should include more evidence such as: joint tax returns filing married, health insurance policies, auto insurance policies, utility bills, joint lease agreements, a couple photos.

Searching the forum will give you more info as to what evidence you can submit as well.

I have a problem about utility bills. We do not have bills that share the same name together because we live at my parents house. I do not have joint lease agreements. Are there other more evidence? I got the photos and plane tickets. I kinda lack the evidence...

I can submit all my bank statements from 2013. If the due date is on April 15 2016, I can submit my info on February, right?

    3. What if I am a K nonimmigrant visa holder and already had a medical exam overseas?

If you were admitted as a:

    a. K-1 fiancé(e) or a K-2 child of a K-1 fiancé(e); or as a

    b. K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen or a K-4 child of a K-3 spouse of a U.S. citizen; and

    c. You received a medical examination prior to admission, then:

    (1) You are not required to have another medical examination as long as your Form I-485 is filed within one year of your overseas medical examination, and the medical examination did not reveal a Class A medical condition, or if you did have a Class A medical condition, you received a waiver of inadmissibility and have complied with the terms and conditions on the waiver.

    (2) Even if a new medical examination is not required, you must still show proof that you complied with the vaccination requirements. If the vaccination record (DS 3025) was not properly completed and included as part of the original overseas medical examination report, you will have to have the vaccination report completed by a designated civil surgeon. In this case, you are required to submit the vaccination record and page 1 of Form I-693.

Our interview is on Tuesday with no RFE. EAD arrived last week

Question, did you have a civil surgeon submit an I 693 form or no?
