CC date on letter March 31, 2015

Interview letter received April 17, 2015

Interview date May 5, 2015 (to be rescheduled)

Just called NVC (got through after 4 tries and waited about a half hour). Was told the following:

You have an appointment scheduled for May 4, 2015 at 10am.

We are super thankful but we did not receive any email or anything. Two weeks is too soon to get a doctors appointment in addition to the fact that we will be away and have to change the date. Soo looks like we will have to be moving ours to mid May or June.

Yes the letter always is 7 days after the actual case complete. Thats why when people say I got CC letter I subtract 7 days and add them to list.

Oh crud. My letter date was March 31, 2015 so my CC was March 25? I was under the impression that it was 7 days after the CC (letter date) everyone received the hard copy. Whoops! Sorry!!

Only 22 minutes to get through today.

No Interview yet.

Guess my CC date is actually March 30, not April 6th, that was just the letter date, according to the rep....Ugh that's worse

The NVC rep said don't worry, May interviews are still being scheduled

Hey everyone I was just told by a very reliable source from NVC that they are working diligently on the interview they are way be hide and also they are updating their new system. So hang on. Interview letters are coming.

THANK YOU sooo much Dwheels76!! I was losing my mind wondering what happened! Buenos Aires usually schedules interviews very quickly (at least for my kids we had them within two weeks)!! Abrazos enormes!!

So finding your representative is only for the USA right? I live in Canada so would i find my representative for Canada or would the petitioner, my husband contact his representative in new york? Also, what is the authorization form for? What would we ask the representative to do? Any help would be great.

Yes. Your rep from Canada could not help you with the US visa. Your husband could try to ask to speed up your process.

He can find out what vaccinations he had by doing a blood test.

I want to know how much time it takes to the embassy to send me the packet 3.

I called NVC, they told me they sent the packet to the embassy in Argentina on March 18th. Traking by DHL, I found out the had recieved it (the embassy) on March 25th. However, I havent recieved packet 3 yet, and I am worried. I think I should have recieved it by now. I see other members timelines, and they recieve packet 3 in the same week the embassy recieve them.

I called to the embassy and they told me they cant give me any piece of information, that I only have to wait.

I dont know what to do.Is it normal? Its been 15 days since my packet arrived this country.

Sorry to stray off topic, but how long did it take between CC and the interview being scheduled?

Hello can anyone tell me how long it is taking to get an interview date once you get a CC from NVC? It has been almost a month and I am waiting for a interview date for my husband in Jamaica. Hopefully someone can shine some light on this stage in the process for me.

We have the same question! We have only been waiting a week though. The CC letter came last Tuesday for us. It looks like some countries do it in 48hrs from the CC date. No idea why it should take a month! Best of luck!! If I see a response somewhere else regarding this I will post it here.

Hi Guys, I spoke with the NVC yesterday because we received the close case letter last Tuesday (March 31) but on CEAC my case is still listed at the NVC. They told me that they have to schedule the interview with the Embassy FIRST then they mail it to the Embassy. The problem is that the Embassy was closed on Thursday and Friday due to holidays however Monday and Today they are open.

Does anyone know how long it takes them to schedule an interview after the complete the case? I have read that it takes 48 hours however it has been longer for us (maybe due to the holiday or due to the Embassy here in Argentina).

We have had two interviews here at the Embassy in Argentina and they have been very quick and easy to schedule and extremely organized. I cannot think that it is due to the holiday at the Embassy but rather a problem with NVC slowing down with scheduling?

I cannot figure this out! Can someone help me?

Go into the DHL website and look for Tracking, Tracking by Shippers Reference

Here is what you will see:

Track by Shipper´s Reference

Fields marked with a (*) are mandatory

Track

So in the Shippers Reference box you put the date you got the CC letter or a day or try a day or two around that date.

For example I put in EXP 04 APR 2015 for Express 4, April, 2015. Then you put in a date range for the shipment and hit "Track"

It will give you multiple listings if anything was sent out that day from the NVC. They use that format as a tracking reference. You may see packages sent out to the various countries, originating in Portsmouth, NH or Boston.

Our case was closed March 25 and we received the CC letter last night, March 30. It might depend on your circumstances as to how soon the CC letter comes after the case is complete. We had to respond to a checklist. Still waiting (obviously) for the interview. The Embassy here schedules interviews pretty quickly (I had to do two interviews for my babies born here). Good luck!!

In my haze of frustration, I read the response from the NVC incorrectly. It says it is still missing (obviously because they told me not to send it with our response), not to send it in but have my husband bring it to the interview. I think this means our case is complete? Do we get any other notices or do we wait for the embassy? How long does it take for them to schedule an interview?

We sent in our updated I 864 to the NVC and they received it on Monday, 23 of March. Today, 25 of March, we received ANOTHER checklist asking us to send in the updated I864 A with the adjusted gross income change as well. In the first checklist they told us NOT to send it to the NVC and that the principal applicant must bring it with them to the interview.

Should I fight this or pay another US$60 to send in this one form? Anyone else have this issue?

Received the 60 day letter today. It said that as of November 14 we will have to wait at least 60 days for them to review our documents. We started this process one year ago. Hoping to not have to submit a checklist.

My husband made a request online and it should get here next week. We will just send it in via FedEx next week with the coversheet and a cover letter explaining what happened.

Hi Guys! We got an IV coversheet that asked us to send responses to the NH address Attn CMR however, some time after paying our IV fees we got a checklist and coversheets asking us to send all documentation Attn DR. We sent it in two days ago (they will receive it today). Did anyone else get this?

Does this mean we still are going to at least wait the 60 days or is this going to go directly to a person handling our case at the NVC?

Really confused by the change of attention with respect to the address.

Thanks Philip! (I can only call between the hours of noon and four as that is when my 1.5 yr old is in school. Will try to ask my husband to call at the times you suggested instead.)

Do you think that the 401K will count as an asset though??? There are no descriptions of possible assets other than home ownership and bonds.

We would love to have the interview before our second baby is born mid January. Otherwise we will have to wait until she has her vaccinations so I can bring her with us to the interview.
