  1. Congratulations !!!!! ours is on Tuesday. Can you tell us what they asked and what you took with you ? A

So did you ask the, if you were approved or did they just tell you ? I'm so happy for you guys

So sorry for the bad grammar ( iPad )

They just asked us how we met, and how our relationship progressed after that. Then, it was all the yes/no questions on the i-485 form, and they asked if we had additional documents to give them. I brought copies of our latest tax return showing that we filed as married filing jointly, our phone bills, credit card authorization, health insurance bills, and receipts from a trip we had and a recent furniture purchase. I punched them at the top to make it easier for the IO. I didn't ask if we were approved, she simply said that my conditional green card will arrive in a couple of weeks. Thirty minutes after the appointment, I received the text and email saying my card was ordered for production. :) I hope this helps! Good luck on your interview!

  2. We just got back from our interview-- we were approved on the spot, and even got a stamp in the passport to allow us to travel (we may have a work trip coming up).

We got to the office at 9:05 for our 9:20 interview. We were called back at 9:35 and were back out and done by 9:55! The officer asked very basic questions, and was thankfully in a jovial mood. (When he asked my husband if he had any children, I kind of giggled and said "He better not!" and we all laughed.) He photocopied our marriage certificate and some of the things I brought along (wedding invite, newspaper clipping, photo).

I'm so glad this is done, and am so thankful for you all. Without Visa Journey, we never could have done this on our own. Virtual hugs!!

    Congratulations!!! :)

  3. Hi! My husband and I recently submitted my i-130 and i-485 packed on Nov 16.

I just started reading the forums and I realized that when we sent the i-130 packet, we filled out Chicago, IL (where we sent it) on line 22 instead of N/A or Baltimore, MD (which is the office closest to us).

I wanted to know if this is going to be an issue and if there is anything we can do to correct it?

    Thanks!
