  1. Hi march filers!! I had my interview this past wed and I was approved :goofy::goofy: :goofy: :goofy: , my visa is ready to pick up and God willing ill be with my hubby in our house next weekend!! Good luck everyoneeee :dancing:

    Congrats!! So happy for you!!

Our interview is the 5th. My hubby is in Moscow now and just completed his medical. I'm on pins and needles now just waiting. Unfortunately I'm unable to attend with him which is killing me lol.

  2. Once interview is assigned they will send off to embassy sometimes within days or weeks.

The scheduling for Kenya is complete for January. The February scheduling should start up for everyone last few days of December or 1st week of January.

And Interviews are scheduled for the month ahead.

Do you happen to know if scheduling for Russia is complete for January? I checked the spreadsheet for ideas on how long it takes, but doesn't seem to be many from Russia there. Thanks!

  3. I honestly thought we were being denied. Our interviewer was a lot more of an interrogator than I thought. Andrey was extremely nervous & scared of being denied so he wouldn't speak loud enough for the man to hear & he couldn't think straight to answer the questions properly. The questions weren't what I was expecting & focused on how we met (by chance online in a bingo app chat) and our trip to Turkey this past March. They were pretty simple questions but it was like they were trying to find holes in our story & we were thrown off guard. We hadn't went over those details because we really didn't think it would be brought up. He never asked for more proof of our relationship except he asked if we had more pictures & I said I didn't bring any since we submitted the ones from Turkey already. He was typing a lot & at the end was quiet for longer than before so I just knew that when he reached over & got a paper to hand to us, it was a denial. Much to my surprise, he casually said "your visa is approved" and was explaining what the sheet said. We both were just shocked & it took a second before we realized he had just said we were approved & it was over.

As for airlines & POE, we're flying Turkish Airlines into Houston in mid-January. They were the cheapest we could find & our two tickets add up to the average cost of one.

I feel like I missed something you wanted to know so anything else, just ask (:

Wow!! that does sound scary! I'm glad everything went good for you! I wish I could be with my hubby for the interview, but I wont be able to. Thanks for the info, I'm definately going to check this out because i would much rather fly to Houston than New York. I'm close enough i could even just drive to Houston, plus I love Texas :) I hope you have a safe trip home! and now you'll be busy making wedding plans! Yay!!

  4. Since most of you are way ahead of us, how long did it take NVC to receive your case after I-130 approval, a month-ish? I tried to read through the posts, but there are way too many haha.

Mine took about a month to be recieved by NVC. I don't know how prepared you are for NVC, but you'll want to read Saylin's wiki for sure and start preparing all your documents now while you wait, so that you can send them in as soon as your fees are paid. when they recieve your documents the clock starts ticking down your 60 days wait. Also, just a side note, when filling out the form I-864 be sure to read all the info on common checklists for this form. I filled mine out online and printed it, i noticed that some of the information i had filled out at the beginning was cleared out, so it's a good idea to triple check this document.

  5. Congrats!! So exciting! Do you already have plans for airlines and POE? I'm curious because my hubby is waiting for his interview to be scheduled and I want to meet him wherever he fly's in at. I'm close to Tulsa, so i know i'll have to fly somewhere as there are no direct flights from Moscow to Tulsa. I'm just trying to get some ideas at this point. Im curious how your interview went also.

  6. Well, i guess crazy is the new normal cos i swear I've checked the Ceac webpage over 100 times today. Gosh this needs to soon real soon. Whatever your review will conclude, pls NVC just pick up my file already! Uuuuuh! So sick of this.

Anyone else did not send last page of Aos? I hear this calls for a checklist. Pls let me know anything yoi may know about this. Thanks!

I thought about calling, but I have a feeling about tomorrow. I'm unsure about the last page. Is it the signature page I think? Ill have to go and look, now im curious

  7. Case Complete

Followed NVC Operator instructions which differ from those on this forum:

1.After AOS showed PAID, sent both AOS and IV packets together using the NVC supplied Document Cover Sheet

    2. 4 days later received notice that documents were received on a certain date and to wait 60 days for review.

    3. A few days after that IV Fee was open to pay

    4. Received no "archaic" "false checklists" since we followed NVC instructions and they had both packages

    5. No documents were "lost" because we sent both packages together

    6. Had no checklists due to the help of VJ

My advice: Read everything here and follow the advice of the NVC.

Congrats! I've been following in your footsteps, thanks for keeping us all updated! Best wishes for your interview!

  8. We just got notice of our I-130 NOA2 yesterday as well!! Good luck to you with the next steps!

Nevermind! Just checked and our NOA2 was sent out yesterday!!! I've been thanking God all morning. It's been such a struggle taking care of a newborn all by myself knowing that it could be months until my husband is here. Hopefully a miracle happens at the NVC and things starting moving fast =) .

Congrats to you both!! I think we have at least one or two more that we are waiting on? Marie 12 and baluchsaab? Any word on approval?
