I got the paper in the mail today. It says that it has been transferred to the Texas Service Center. The letter's date is 3/12/2018. We'll see what happens.

I don't know what to say to you... The officer even asked to see my phone where I had the confirmation email. They could stamp it, or they could tell you to go back when you have the ticket or when it expires. You never know with these people.

Yes. Make sure she brings her tickets. I was required to show them my tickets for my trip in March.

I've been gone from the site for months... and today I decided to check what's new. I got so excited to see people posting they got approved!!! Yeiiiiii... and then no... not so exciting to find out that California is still not approving anyone :/

Oh well.... I guess I'll be back in a few months...

Hello there,

I am travelling to Mexico in a few days with EAD-AP combo card. I had already traveled to Mexico twice. First by airplane, and got a stamp at the airport. Second, by land, and got a stamp and a I-94 "paroled" permit when entering the US. Since the permit says it's valid until June 1, 2015, but also says that is for single use, I really don't know if I have to give it to the airline when leaving for Mexico, or should I keep it with me and show it when returning to the US.

Does anyone here have a similar experience????

My husband and I have a dilemma... since I arrived on January 31, 2014 to the US, got EAD in June and started working in August... Am I authorized to file like a permanent resident? If so, can it be done online? or has to be on paper? Do I need to send an statement that I want to be considered a permanent resident for tax purposes?

Also... what's the online tax service you recommend for this case?

If you have proof of meeting or visiting each other multiple times, that should be enough evidence. My husband and I never included emails, skype or whatsapp conversations in our packets. We just sent proof of our trips to visit each other (we did that a lot), and the phone records (he called me every night... so that was long too).

i have a question about the driver's license tests... did your husband had to take the written and practice tests??? did he had to drive on the highway?? i'm about to go and get mine, but i'm in panic cause i've never driven on the highway and it totally freaks me out

I went to the public clinic in Mexico and got as many as they had available... and I can tell you, even if you pay for the rest in Mexico, comes cheaper than paying for them full price in the US.... but just make sure she gets her vaccination records stamped by the clinic.

Let me know how that goes.... the same happened to me, just I didn't think of mentioning that in the biometrics appt... now EAD was approved, but AP hasn't changed status
