  1. Ilovemyman Dios dijo- Ayudate que yo te ayudare. You can't sit idly by and do nothing, you have to be proactive! Call NVC and press option 3 for cases that are at the Embassy, e-mail Santo Domingo EVERY DAY until they get tired of you!

Don't just give up, government agencies don't care about your feelings or how they're messing with peoples lives. Remember, the squeaky wheel gets the oil!

  2. Thanks everyone! We're really excited, counting the days for DomEx to deliver his passport.

    Congratulations!!!!!!!
Shy did they make you guys take a,DNA test? Do they always do that? Is there a way torequest it at the medical so it doesn't delay the visa issue if it is mandatory?? we also have a baby and I'd love to get that done beforehand if we can!

You must be so happy!!!!! When is the wedding???

They don't always request a DNA test. My fiance and I had a complicated case and he messed up a lot of the questions. If the consular officer suggest you have a DNA test taken they will give you a list of approved labs to have it done, Clinica Abreu does not do DNA testing for the Embassy. Also, the Embassy will not accept any DNA test that you hand in your self, and the labs will not send in DNA results to the Embassy if they have not requested it. I hope that help and made sense!
