We started the process in February 2013. k-1 fiance visa doesn't do case complete like cr1 but our papers were sent to yemen in late october/november 2013. The consular officer was very nice and polite to my fiance. He was there interviwed for about 40 minutes. Asked a lot of questions and the consular officer took his time looking at his papers. I was happy to hear that he was treated with respect and the officer was smiley and friendly. At the end the officer said his visa was approved but handed him a paper saying he was in ap and that they would call him in 2-3 weeks. Case status online still says ready not ap. Just hoping they issue the visa soon so he can travel. Anybody have experience with them approving the visa and giving ap?

MY FIANCE HAD HIS APPOINTMENT AND THEY TOLD HIM CONGRATULATIONS WE WILL ISSUE YOU A VISA !!! He's on his way home now! They said you will have your visa in 2-3 weeks!

to ppl that have case complete ur case does not not go to yemen usually until u get an interview the the case gets transfered to sanaa. theres no estimates about how long it takes to get an interview cuz he each case is treated differently . it looks like everything is moving along good now from what i hear these days.

my husband and children's first interview was may 19 2013 they were put on Administrative processing. We were told after the interview that we would get a call to submit their passports within 90 days. It's been 14 months since their interview and finally we get the call. Alhamdillah, insha'allah this time they will give them their visas.

Yay alhamdullilah, finally they called you back. Inshallah it goes smoothly and you get your visa right away. As for the DS-260, I really don't know what they are talking about because you are supposed to fill it out once. Then once it's accepted you can't edit it, or fill out a new one.

Hi guys finally got a call from the embassy. August 4 is my families appointment. They asked for original documents new medical and new police certificate and two photos and a new DS-260. The problem is I try to fill out a new DS-260 online but I can't the old one keeps showing up as completed. Does anyone know how to fill out a new DS-260. Hi all -- AMAZING NEWS!! The embassy called my fiance and gave us a date 4 weeks away for our interview!! This is for a k1 interview. My fiance also got them to email the letter because last time when they sent it to my house it was late and we missed our interview!
