Do you guys know since NVC fees changed in Sept 2014 if those of us who already paid all fees do we have to pay fee differences at interview in DR? Just curious since the fees changed.

Does anyone know what is the usual time frame for your case number to come up in the system for Vac Appointment?

My husband and I have our embassy interview for March 31 and im so fustrated that I cannot make Vac Appointment.

I thought that for CR-1 you don't have to pay at Banco Popular.

The same thing is happening to me when im trying to schedule vac appointment

I wanted to know when creating the Vac profile for the finger image appointment.

The address section do you put the adrress in DR or the one in the US.

Im confused because when I try to put our DR adress is asking for a postal code.

So its been a long journey and I usually dont post much but I am overwhelmed of joy. Finally I can say we got Case Complete in NVC on 1/22

With so many new changes I just have one question. NVC says the next step is to wait for an interview to be scheduled from DR Embassy and they will notify us. I have been calling every day to check if we have a date and nothing. Do I really have to wait for them or do I schedule it as I see in some posts?

How long to wait for interview appt?

I didnt sent the bar coded cover sheet.What i did send was the invoice paper as it states the case number.

When I sent our Aos package i sent it the same way. And a week later i got an email saying they received it. Lets see what they say tommorow.

But no I didnt write the case number on our documents because I didnt think it was gonna be a problem. Womp Womp

Thank you to everyone who has responded and shared some insight. I will def give them a call again tommorrow and speak to a Supervisor.

Its so weird because they have gotten everything else quickly with no problems and got an email right after. When I sent my civil documents now I didnt sent the cover page but I did sent the invoice paper in the front of the package.

Either way is so stressing having to wait this long. Wish me luck guys and hopefully ill get se good news...

Hello everyone!!!!

Just had a question regarding nvc mail. I sent my Affidavit of support package in early sept. It is still under review as it can take 60 days. Now my question is I sent in Sept 17 in a separate package my husbands and I civil documents for the ds260.

I call Nvc like everyday since i havent received an email. In the us postal site it says delivered on Sept 23 but nvc says they havent received anything yet. I might be in the mail room not yet scanned. Im just concerned because its been almost a month now. And it takes 60 days for review and they havent gotten our documents in the system. Is this normal????

Yes def but hopefully everything will move quickly and we can be with our spouses in the US soon.

Its hard being apart but we have to have faith to make it through. Good Luck
