I won a 'green card' in the most recent Diversity Visa Lottery!!
I have completed the interview and I am moving to the USA in April 2014.
My fiancé (together 6.5 years and engaged since April 2012) had intended on following me over to the USA via a H1-B visa, if she was able to obtain one.
We are now looking into the possibility of her coming over on the back of my green card. If we married before I entered the US to 'activate' my green card, would that give us any options?! A lawyer suggested I phone the US embassy in Dublin and ask whether she could be issued a visa on the strength of my visa?! He said it is unlikely but worth a shot.

Hi everyone,
I won a 'green card' in the most recent Diversity Visa Lottery!!
Thanks in advance!!
