  1. Hey, thanks for your reply. We sent out our petition on 4th of June and got our NOA1 on 06/12. We are still waiting for our NOA2. Congratulations on your NOA2, though. We all know how it feels to be apart from the loved ones. May God bless you guys with happiness and love. (F):)

Thank you so much i hope you and everybody else here gets the NoA2 soon,.

Yes, that is so true, we all know how it feels and how hard it is to be apart and may God bless you too :) and everybody else on this journey with love and happiness (L)

  2. Guys, a quick question: how many of the June CSC filers got their NOA2 within the estimated VJ timeline? Ours are overdue according to the timeline and even though it keeps changing. This is keeping me up all night and moreover I saw a post regarding the USCIS screwup; a deadly combination I tell ya!

    Thanks in advance!

Hi, we got our NoA2 on July 16, im not sure if it was within the estimated VJ timeline, but i think so, we sent in our petition on the 12 of June.

    I hope this helps. a bit (F)

  3. Hi, im new here and maybe this is in the wrong forum, in that case im sorry, I have a question, i was reading the faqs of the imigrant visas on the home site of the US consulate in Stockholm Sweden and I ran it to this question (I'll just copy and paste here): I'm divorced; do I require permission from my ex spouse to take my child(ren) out of the country?

And the answer: If you are divorced and you are applying for a visa for your child(ren) by a previous marriage, you will be required to present on the day of your visa interview proof that you have been awarded custody of the child(ren) by the court and that permission has been given for the child(ren) to be taken out of the Sweden.

Ok, so my question is, i am divorced and i do have a child, but it is not my ex husbands child, she has a different father, from a relationship after my divorce. i have had sole custody since her birth. Do i still need permission from her father or court to take her out of the country? We have no papers signed of anything like visitation rights etc.

I would really appreciate it if someone could share some light over this :)

    Thank you
