Based on my experience its not advisable to resign before ur interview at the embassy. I resigned last sept 15, my interview was Oct 9. Until now mow status is on "admin processing". So dont resign.

Try checking the schedule/ availability from time to time. Originally i got my papers and was able to have my medical checkup early september and wanted to schedule the interview late september. However, the website said earliest available schedule is oct 25 so i scheduled it at oct25. Then on the 1st week of october, i checked and there was an opening for oct 9 so i rescheduled my interview.

I'm pretty sure you'll get an earlier schedule just hang in there.

I had my interview last Oct. 9, 2013 and my case is still on AP. I was not asked for add'l docs as the required documents i submitted were complete. I was only advised to wait til i hear from them. Unfortunately, i havent heard anything from them.
