We both met on Yahoo messenger in November 2003, in a chat room of all places. I was the kind of person that didn't believe in online relationships, they only lead to an unfaithful partner. Boy was I wrong. I didn't know what real love was until a few months after meeting him.
He told me the next week after our initial meeting that he's in love with me and he's so weak because he was worried I won't love him back. He would often cry and pray to ALLAH please make her love me, I will die without her... real love has touched me. He finally found out the meaning behind the phrase LOVE IS LIFE.
After some time I realized I know the meaning too... I feel the same for him. I was not stupid about this, I thought about it a lot and I went through all the questions "Does he love me for me? Why does he love me if I'm so far away? Is he being forced to marry and I'm a last resort? Does he just want a citizenship?" Finally I began to gain trust in him and I asked him these questions. It was hurting him but I needed to know the truth.
I chose the title because many people tell me "He doesn't love you, he is just using you to get a US citizenship." Someone told him once, "She only loves you because she can't find anyone else, she is fat and ugly, and you are short and skinny." That man is jealous and doesn't know what real love means. "Don't Doubt Our Love... It's Not Your Decision" You should say it to anyone that doubts on your love.
We finally touched in May 2005. Many people who are actually happy for him told him after I left "We had forgotten what real love is, but after seeing her come here from so far away for just one man, we realized true love still exists."
There is no answer to why you love someone, if you have an answer it means you don't love them.
If I had one wish in the world, I would wish everyone can have the love that we have.
