My wifes green card arrived today (via K-1 process).
Does this allow her to travel and then re-enter the US?
Or is there another form for this?

Here is our situation.
My fiance arrived to JFK airport with a K-1 visa on Feb 17, 2007 and got an I-94 stamped with "Employment Authorized" until May 16, 2007.
On Feb 27, we were legally married.
On March 26 our I-765 Application for EAD was recieved by USCIS.
On April 19, we went for the Biometrics interview to get fingerprinted.
We recieved a Social Card with the married name change that says "Valid for work only with DHS Authorization".
On May 16, the Employment Authorized stamp on the I-94 expired.
My question is... Is my wife eligible to work now?
If so, what proof do we have?

I will be arriving with my fiance (and approved K-1) in Feb.
I read that JFK is the only Point of Entry that will grant an EAD. Does anyone know the process for this?
Do we just ask the Immigration officer at JFK for it?
Should we have any forms filled out before hand, or will they supply the form for us?
Is there any fee associated with this?
Thanks,
Chuck

Would an international drivers license be valid in US?
If so, for how long?

Our K-1 visa has been approved and my fiance will be moving here in February.
Will will be living in NJ/PA area (close to Philadelphia).
I was wondering if anyone had some info or a few good websites with some info about benefits available for new immigrants. I was looking for info about educational benefits, and tax information. I will add her to my health insurance, so that should cover her healthcare.
She has a bachelor's degree, but was looking to take a refresher class in english. Would it be best to check some of the local communities colleges, or high school for some advanced ESL classes? Or are there schools that specialize in this?
And on to taxes. After going to classes, how do the taxes work for an immigrant?
Sorry if these questions have been answered before, but i am new to all of this and only want the best for her. Thanks for bearing with me.

My fiance has a B1 visa for the US. We are in the process of getting a K1 visa. Her interview date is for Sept 1. Assuming that the K1 will get approved in the begining of Sept, we are planning for a Feb wedding.
Would it be possible for her to travel here and visit on her B1 visa in October for a few weeks?

Our 129F has been approved and we are in the process of completing packet 3.
What would happen if we get approved for a K-1, then get married in Thailand before moving to US?
Do we need to start the K-3 forms or can we just continue with the K1 process and say that we got married in Thailand instead of US??

My wife has her GC and we would like to take a trip to Canada for a week. Do we need to file for any special visa, or just need to show GC and passport when crossing?
