  1. That sucks. Still no update for me right now. Did they transferred your case? Did you call since that changed address update?

My case was transferred to Nebraska on 11/01/2013. I have called the clueless gang about 4 times since and they have no answer as to the status of my case. the address changes notifications were done in "error". I have talked to the so called tier 2 people, pretty much a call center out of the states (my opinion). No one knows, nobody cares, they charge money and we can't expect great service and they sound annoyed when we call.

  2. About half hour ago a tier 2 agent put a service request for me. I told her they transferred my file to NSC more 30 days. Now I just got a status update says my address was changed. Anyone know what that means? Does that mean they finally touching my file now?

My address was "changed" twice in November last one being 11/14/2013, case status online showed so. It's 12/17/2013 and NOBODY has touched my case since. have seen so many approvals and as much as Im happy the question always lingers as to why some are approved sooner.

  3. I forgot to add that filing your taxes with an undocumented spouse prevents you from getting many tax credits. We actually have to pay taxes knowing that if he had a Social ## we would actually be receiving something back.

Many err when crimes committed by a few are generalized. Are all priests pedophiles? Are all whites racists? Are all young Latinos in gangs? Are all blacks criminals? Are all Muslims terrorists? Are there undocumented aliens abusing the system? Yes, but the amount of Citizens doing the same it's quite staggering when compared to the undocumented aliens' figures. (Saw if first hand when I worked for Welfare)

Despite our personal opinions, we have all come to this forum out of desperation and google. Seeking support/sympathy/hearing ear to our frustrations during this immigration process.

  4. So once again,

On November 14, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN that you filed.

And once again I called because I have not changed my address, AND ONCE AGAIN "the computer has been sending out error messages". So frustrating.

On the illegal comment, I assume most of us married our spouses out love. Love does not discriminate. Would it be just easier to marry another citizen or green card holder? Of course!! A THOUSAND TIMES EASIER! I'm sure we can all agree to this as this process is not an easy road. For the few of us US citizens that happened to fall in love with these other humans ("illegals"), it is quite a hard road. I could have never imagine all the difficulties. I have been married 8 yrs and I have not been able to resolve his status (due to 10 yr ban). There are many obstacles in the way and once our I 130 is approved, we still have a long way to go proving hardship, something that most of you don't have to go thru.

  5. File approved finally dancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gifdancin5hr.gif . i checked the status at 11:45 AM Pakistan time and it states as:

On November 7, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

    Receipt Date: 04-03-2013

    File Transferred: 24-10-2013 (Nabarsaka)

    Received Transfer hard copy: 31-10-2013

    Case Approved : 7-11-2013

All the transferred gets approved very soon have patience smile.png

Congratulations! So very happy for you! Hopefully we will all receive our approvals soon. Your case was approved 10 business days after it was transferred to Nebraska so if that's how long it's taking I should receive my approval next Friday the 15th if someone decides to work over time on Veterans day!

  6. My case was transferred to Nebraska on November 1st. Last time I got a different notification was on Nov 5th were they supposedly changed my address that I never requested changed. Every time of the day (ABOUT 85467890 times) that I check my case online I cling to the hope that I may see my approval since they're on Central time (I'm on Eastern) and they may still be working on the case . I'm hoping to hear back before they head out to Thanksgiving break!

  7. So ready for this one guys????

I called USCIS because I got the following update: On November 5, 2013, your address was changed relating to the I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN that you filed. Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. I HAVE NOT MOVED!!!protest6wz.gif

So I called and forgot to press a button. I was soon transferred to a Spanish Rep, (good thing I do speak Spanish), anyway my call was quickly answered. The Spanish rep told me that the website has been producing many error messages and sending erroneous notifications for the past few days. sad.png

  8. I called today because I recently changed my lawyer, so they transferred me to I guess a Tier 2 wow.gif to verify the change. My change did not go through, but got the opportunity to inquire about the case status...the response ....."You will receive notice in the mail because your transfer is not yet complete" cray5ol.gif So even though I go this notice on Nov 1, " The I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was transferred and is now being processed at a USCIS office. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you". What then??? what is believable???

  9. I am so glad to find other March Filers, after many months I am so glad that my case was finally noticed/touched/seen/discovered! A very frustrating time. We've been married for 8 yrs now and filed an initial i-130 in 2005 and it was approved after only a month and a half. Because my husband has to adjust his status, that approved 2005 I-130 was terminated for inactivity. We filed again (once the new law passed in March) hoping to continue the case, but found out we had to start the process all over again. So here we are, I got a notice today that read "On October 31, 2013, we transferred your I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN, to your local USCIS Office for further processing. ..

Hate to think that I'm getting my hopes up, but I'm glad it was at least seen. In 2005 it was approved so fast and this time around it's taking such a long time. And I totally agree with "gill8g", how can the processing time for Permanent Residents filing for their spouses be faster than US Citizens. I understand that they may not have as many applications, but we should have some sort of privilege being US citizens!!!

BTW I am also in NJ and just checked my local office and it's in Newark. Other threads say that 2 new notifications will be sent and the 3rd one will actually mean that the Local Office has received the paperwork to start working on it.
