On July 29, 2014 uscis received my application to remove conditions

of my Permanent Resident Status a month after i went to take biometric after that i haven't hear from them. it's that normal? it has been six month and my case status hasn't change. what should i do? can somebody give me an advise pls.

Did it drive me nuts to not hear anything....oh absolutely so I totally understand you! I would advice to give them at least a call to inquiry about your status just to make sure there is no RFE out there! Keep your head up!

My husband and I file for Remote conditions on July 28, biometrics done by August 29, our Service Center its vermont, since the bio, we dont hear anything else. In 8 days we will be in the 6 months Mark that they take for process that type of aplication. Any one can tell me how long after the biometrics they call for an interview or There is some cases that not require interview????

6 months is just an average! It took me 10 months without RFE to get the approval through Vermont! So everything up to a year!

Yes, I would write a letter explaining the living situation etc together with the birth certificate of your child! Other then that you could add her to the title of your car. Do you have any 401K where she is a beneficiary? I would also include the medical bills! That should help'

75 days before my 2 years conditional card expire. today we just sent our packet through UPS carrier,our packet contains:

· Payment of 590 w/ Biometric fee

· Cover letter

· Form I-751

· Copy of green card front and back

· Copy of our birth certificate

· Copy of our Marriage Certificate

· Copy of our joint tax returns for 2012 & 2013

· Copy of updated AAA life insurance showing wife as beneficiary and daughter as contingent beneficiary

· Copy of health insurance card

· Copies of our two cars showing joint ownership, Nissan 1 & Nissan 2

· Copies of our two cars registration Nissan 1 & Nissan 2

· Copies of joint utility bills PG&E energy statement

· Copy of debit card & void check showing same number from Bank 1

· Copies of joint bank statement from Bank 1

· Copy of debit card & void check showing same number from Bank 2

· Copies of joint bank statement from Ban2

· Copy of joint credit card from Bank of America

· Copy of joint credit card from MACYS

· Copies of our paycheck showing same address

· Copy of driver license, drivers permit and identification card showing same address

· Letter from apartment office stating wife is a resident

· Copies of wife medical record m

· Copy of our daughter Birth Certificate and Medical Record

· Pictures spanning the entire time from our wedding and until present time

· Vacation itineraries

· Sworn statement from family and friend

· A signed affidavit from both of us detailing our married life to date and Magazine showing same address

The average wait time for approval is 6 months! You will get your one year extension fairly quickly!

I've filed I-751, and had Biometrics. I am currently out of the United States. I signed up for email updates for my case. When I log in and see my status, it says that my I-751 was received. However, when I see the possible future "statuses" , RFI is not one of them. Since I won't have access to mail, if I get an RFI, will they send me an email and will my online status show that an RFI was requested?

Unfortunately your online status will not indicate that you got an RFE even when you get one! You might be able to get info by calling customer service!

Do you have anybody that can check your mail at home?

So, I contacted USCIS yesterday and spoke to an immigration officer lady. After I gave her all the details, she put me on hold for about 10 minutes and then came back and let me know that the security check is still pending. She also told that technically they have till December to adjudicate my application.

The only thing that I can do right now is to contact the senator. But I doubt whether that will be of any help, specially when the USICS is saying that the security check is pending. Guys, do you think that the security check could be expedited by contacting the senator?

1) Where would the A number be? Is this on the GC?

2) What does in care of name mean in the address section?

1) The A number is on your green card.

2) In care of" refers to an established occupant of a residence who may already be known to your local deliveryman/woman.

Its generally used for bigger buildings with multiple receipients of mail.

1) I just looked at my form and I have the email address in capital letters.

2) I entered N/A

3) I left it blank since I kept my maiden name.

4) I remember that we re sized the form in the printer settings but I don't know how important that is.

I would do whatever makes you feel better I had them just in case doesn't hurt to have them

I personally say yes...have at least two! But keep in mind they are only secondary evidence!

I just got the info that my card was mailed! Will there be a tracking number or do we have to call for that? Just curious:)

Happy for you Vicky!! I actually just received an interview letter...saying case was referred to local office for interview... Not what I expected especially since I didn't get an RFE..

I believe anyways the interview is better than the RFE! Paperwork doesn't speak louder than action, reactions and word!!!

You will be fine..I am more than sure about it!!!!
