  1. Where did you get this from?

To the OP, browse through the ROC instructions Here or follow the link below! Good luck.

    https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-751instr.pdf

I read it somewhere... I was just looking yesterday for the same situation, for myself. But as more people are saying the same thing, that means is as they say 90 days only!

  2. Seems that things changed this year for K1...: now the forms 156 and 156K were replaced by DS-160, also I didn't need the form 230.

Also I needed to send to the US Embassy at the Bucharest, through the e-mail, the instructions page dated and signed, the copy of my passport and the confirmation of DS-160. The next day I got the answer from them that I need to make some changes on the form DS-160, after that I could make the appointment for the interview and I had to register for a delivery place where to pick up my passport (I got some numbers for that).

Now I wait for the interview....whistling.gif

  3. I have a question about the Affidavit of Support and supporting documentation (letters from employers, tax returns etc). Does my American have to send me all this by mail so that I have the originals with me on the interview date or is it ok if he just scans everything and emails it to me and I print it out?

Please advise and Merry Christmas everyone!

    Hello,

as I know the TAX Return must be original, but the rest of them I don't know. I will use scan documents, I hope it will be fine....

  4. Best of luck to you.

Current processing times on VJ is just to get an idea, but really your NOA2 should come 5-6 months (unless you get an RFE). If they are processing faster then maybe you'll be in luck but I think 5 mo is a good general expectation.

Once you get the NOA2 then the next phase starts... At this point it's good to send fax to the Embassy to send packet with all necessary papers to prepare for the interview.

Beneficiary will need to go to get a cazier judiciar, and also schedule a medical. The Petitioner will need to get paperwork for an I-134 affidavit of support (bank letter, work letter, tax returns, w2s).

Important to get together a package of proof of relationship, phone bills, entry stamps in passport, skype logs, emails, cards/letters mailed, photos.

I;m sure everything will work out. Good luck!

The waiting is really hard,,, but hopefully you two can schedule trips to see each other in europe. Again best of luck to you and godspeed smile.png

Hello, we got the RFE on 20th Nov 2013 and the approval on 10th Dec 2013 YAY!!! :)

  5. Hello All!!!!

I don't know if its just me or someone else is going through same BS from USCIS! We've filed an i130 petition in March and still no NOA2! Isn't that just crazy? I noticed people who filed in August though for a K1 get approval within 2 months! What da hell is wrong with those guys giving priority to people who aren't married while keep those legally married apart for long?

Just doesn't make any sense to me!

Hi, I knew about this since years ago , that's why I chosen K1 instead of marry before. Probably they think that people would use this (get married before) as advantage .

  6. Best of luck to you.

I just took a look to the Immigration timelines for people with K1 and already are 5 people who had NOA1 on 1st and 2nd Oct.2013 and got NOA2 at the end of Oct 2013, even today 30 Oct 2013 someone got it. So, what you think about this? Anyway....all I hope is not to get a RFE, and of course...to pass all fast rolleyes.gif

  7. Current processing times on VJ are just an estimate, however, our estimated approval date was suprisingly accurate for both our K1 visa and Ap/EAD approval. I can't believe it's been almost 2 years since we applied for our K1 visa. When we were going thru the process it seemed to take forever. Looking back on it now, I wish I would have used that time to prepare for my fiance's arrival. ( clean out closets, make space for his clothes, figure out where I would be able to buy ingredients for the foods he was used to eating, etc) Whatever you do - don't make plans that you can't change until you have the visa in hand.

Have your fiance read the bucharest embassy thread. I attended the interview with my fiance and the questions were pretty much as people had posted them.

Good luck on your Visa Journey!

Thank you for advices. Yes, we both did read the Bucharest embassy thread. I did read a lots of testimonials....to be prepared for everything...but still...there are things that you can't predict...Most cases are particular. Thank you for your wishes!

Thank you for your answer and your wishes.

If you look at the timelines, there people wrote when they got NOA1 and NOA2. Even 3 people who got NOA1 on 01 Oct 2013, 02 Oct 2013, they got these days NOA2. So, according to VisaJourney, California is processing now the files who has NOA1 on 1st Sept 2013, according to the immigration timelines (only K1) , very many who applied on Sept 2013 they got the NOA2 in Oct 2013. How do you explain these?

  9. Moved from IR-1/CR-1 Process & Procedures to Europe & Eurasia regional forum; multiple posts in language other than English. If you wish to use a language other than English, please do so in the regional forums only.

I can translate what I wrote above for the people who need the same information: I completed on the form what USCIS recommended us: additional sheet: " Form 325A Supplement. Applicant's em....(this was all I could write in that space) , on the additional sheet I wrote : The Name of the person for who was filled the form , next row: " Form 325A Supplement. Question: Applicant's employment last five years.Full name and address of Employer'' , and then the address. (of course this was an example from other form but the rule is applying to all forms)

If you can't prove that you were employed then write: ''unemployed''

  10. Mersi florentina. Si crezi ca ei verifica itm?

Eu din cate am auzit Ambasada are acces la foarte multe informatii, chiar si secrete, cel putin pentru americani au acces si la informatiile de la FBI, CIA si altele, si verifica ''background-ul'' petitionarilor in America , nu m-as mira sa verifice si pe beneficiari. Oricum...mare grija!

Eu sa fiu in locul tau nu m-as risca, dar tu faci cum crezi. Aaaaa! vezi ca undeva pe formulare scrie : ''Penalties: Severe penalties are provided by law of knowingly and willfully falsifying or concealing a material fact.''

    Good luck!

  11. Hi, we re trying to complete the I130 form and we need some help from vj:

    1. My wife was previously married And theres not enough space to write her full name used in her previous marriage and her full maiden name.

    2. She has to write my adress in Romania, again no space to write full adress, because here we have what we call sectors (districts) and apt. Builiding number - do they matter or just the street name and number plus zip code are enough

    3. Ive been employed for almost 6 years same place. Huge problem is i dont have a contract. (But i get payed)

What do we have to write - unemployed? And if i want to write my employers adress again not enough space.

    Thanks

M-am uitat la formularul 130. Iti cere : Strada si numarul, numarul apartamentului, orasul, tara, si codul postal. Completezi doar ce ti se cere. Daca ar spune: Full address, atunci da, faci o hartie aditionala.

Question: Applicant's employment last five years.Full name and address of Employer'' , iar apoi adresa.

  13. Hello everyone, finaly I decided to make an account here. I studied a lot this site since months ago when me and my fiancé decided to apply for K1. This is a very very good site, with a lots of useful informations.

I have a question, maybe for the old members here: Is it the ''Current processing times'' based on the Visajourney members data? Does that mean that is not so accurately because there can be other people who applied but are not registered on this site?.

Another thing that I want to say is that I saw in most cases that they got the NOA2 after 4-6 months since NOA1, lately 3 months, but according to ''Current processing times'' seems that California is right now less then 2 months ago. If they keep working with this rithm I expect to get my approval in less then 2 months, we got the NOA1 on 1th Oct. 2013. I hope we will not get any RFE.....

Wish you all : LUCK!!! and Thank you for your answers!
