Do I need to file this? This isn't apart of the AOS Form Downloads... Also, how do I get my medical report if my previous docs don't have the records anymore? As in, I was a K-1 now filing for AOS and all of my medical reports went with security when I left at Toronto... They took the entire package. The only thing that I was given was a CD of my xrays...

I have a question... I arrived here in the US on June, it hasn't been 90 days yet and we married within 2 weeks of my arrival and the Expiration date on my Visa (the sticker I got from Montreal on my passport) is in September 10th. I will be submitting the AOS forms by next Monday, will this be a problem of any sort? And by problem, I mean because we are giving our AOS forms so late into the 90 day period... Or that 90 day period is just for the Marriage itself?

Ok, scratch above... I just read that my Canadian Credit does not follow me in the US, so it's a clean slate... Right? So, would it be better if we both opened a new account(joint account) at a different bank, or should we go with his already established account?

Do we need to do a joint bank account? I did get my SSN . We were thinking of not doing a joint bank account because of my credit history...

Status has finally been changed to "Issued" since June 9th, what happens next? Do I get e-mailed the tracking number or will it just say on the website/e-mailed when it's ready to be picked up?

Question: Is a CEAC status being on "READY" for a long period of time a negative thing? It's scaring me >: Almost 4 weeks since it's been in "READY" status. Everything checks out clear. I've already had the interview, just had to send in a proper BC. Sent it in April, they finally started working on it in May...

Medical: Clear
Income/Support: Clear (Making 80k a year - Software engineer, permanent position)
Police History: Clear
Relationship Proof: Clear

I had my interview March 23 in Montreal. I was missing a better version of my BC so I needed to send in paper work. They received my paperwork April 17th. Acknowledged the paper work (as in went to ready status) May 12th. And it has been stuck in "READY" status since then. When I spoke with the consular in Montreal, he said all of my paperwork was fine, he just needed the BC... So I'm in my worried state lol... Almost 3 weeks... nerve wracking.

Since my case has been stuck on READY status for almost 3 weeks now, does the status ever go from "READY" to "REFUSED" or does "READY" mean that it's in progress for approval/has already been approved?

Is this for your interview or just to process what you've sent in? Because if it's just to process what you sent in you'll wait about a year between now and when you can get interviewed.

I don't think it really means anything. Just very very frustrating!! Hopefully you will get it changed soon!! Have you tried getting a hold of the consulate at all?

Why is it taking so long? =\ I had to send some missing documents, but it should have been processed by now. =\ Any ideas?

Okay, so, I looked at the website, and it shows that it has since been updated since March 23, to April 27th. They received the files on April 17th. The update still says "Administrative Process" but the date has been updated. Is this a good sign?
