Hello i had my cfo a week ago and they don't ask for my Fiancee/ petitioner's BC. They don't even ask for affidavit of support etc. she only ask for divorce decree, few of our chat logs and photo and never returned it

Yup! Have no idea what the hold up is. Hong Kong sends packages to the Embassy via registered mail...which doesn't mean much except they should get a receipt indicating that the package was received by someone at the Embassy on a particular date. My wife is going to call a friend of hers in HK to call the HK Police Department to find out if they've received the return receipt to find out what date it was actually delivered to the Embassy and who signed for the package! Seems that there were others who have similar issues with PCs from HK.

Once we know when the PC was delivered to the Embassy - it will be hard for them to tell us that they haven't received yet when we have proof of delivery. Not being able to do much more than that is frustrating. My wife ordered her PC from HK in June..and, as I've said before, they sent it out on 7/9. The mail system in the PI is one of the worst! I've sent cards to my wife in Manila and some of them took as long as a month to get there from the US! Crazy!

I hope that all of this is over very soon for you and yours as well as for us so that we can move on with life!!!

Salamat mine says was sent to registered mail 7/30 i know how terrible postal service here is but if they use FedEx or DHL will only takes 2-3 days...i tried calling USEM this afternoon i just waste my prepaid load lol all they can say is press this number etc. i was thinking, what of i just go to the embassy? Like what i did when i ask for request letter before to apply for HK PC?

When did you request your PC from Hong Kong?

Hong Kong sent the PC on 7/9 - would hope that the Embassy has received it.

When you say it took a month...do you mean the amount of time for Hong Kong to process and send your PC or do you mean from the time that the Embassy received it from Hong Kong? PC's from Hong Kong usually take 3 - 4 weeks to process. Just wondering how long the Embassy will sit on it before completing the Visa?

Wow it took really that long? Mine was just being sent to the consulate last 7/30, i sent my request before end of May, but they return it to my fiancee 6/23 and re-mailed to them the same day! i''m gonna cry, your wife's pc was sent 7/9 and yet still not on their file what more of my PC?

Don't worry, summer will still be here for another month and a half so there's plenty of time. Its still warm here until middle to end of Sept anyways.

If the number is still invalid, it means 2go doesn't have your visa packet. Just keep waiting and check every day.

Try checking with your User ID from when you are logged into your dashboard. Its the number in parenthesis next to your email right next to where it says "logged in as "

From my experience, when the dashboard said the passport was still at post, there was nothing on 2Go website. When it changed to "your passport was received from the consular section and is being prepared for delivery", that's when it was on 2go. But the funny thing happened is before I could even check on 2go, my fiancée already received 2 texts on both phones that her visa was ready for pick up!

Hopefully soon you will get your visa and you can come and experience Iowa before it starts to get cold lol. My fiancée has been here a week now.

My wife is in the same situation...Approved but got a 221(g) for Hong Kong PC...Hong Kong said they maileded it to the Embassy via registered mail on July 9. My wife's interview was 7/25 and the Embassy said that they didn't have the PC. As of 7/28 they still didn't have it. They said that they'd notify her when they get it. Well...I would assume that 3-1/2 - 4 weeks would be plenty of time for the Embassy to receive the PC and then put it into her file. She's calling them tomorrow to find out if they've received/processed it yet. VERY frustrating!

Hello i hope u have your PC at the consulate already, mine i keep on sending them email asking about my PC clearance it took 1 month and 4 days to complete and forward to the embassy.

Yes i agree with B & G...you shouldn't be stressed out yourself... It will be issued soon maybe this week...

I waited mine for 12days before received my passport on hand...

Also you cant track your passport.. Theres nothing you can do just wait til your visa is at ISSUED then you can check it via 2go e-trace bear in mind that will take 2-3days before the embassy will transit to 2go courier...

Its normally gone the Delivery add. Info when you visa stats change to issued...

Nevermind checking ustraveldocs my advice...

Just focus on CEAC website keep checking it til it shows issued then you can track via 2go e-trace once ur visa is at issued... No need to check CEAC...

I am sharing it based on my experienced as i did the same thing too...

I realized that ustraveldocs is not updated when i finally got my visa on hand!

I would try to calm down, you are stressing yourself for nothing. Your CEAC status shows AP because your visa still has not been issued.

You mentioned that the embassy received the Hong Kong police certificate on Jul 30th, that was on Wednesday. Lets assume that envelope was not opened till Thursday. So it has only been 2 days, Thursday and Friday, that the embassy has had the police certificate. 2 days is not something you should be freaking out about.

Give them some time to actually get to add the police certificate to your case file and then forward it to the correct department so that your visa may be issued. I am sure you will hear something by the end of the week.

Just keep checking the CEAC, you said your police clearance was just sent to the consulate last July 30 and it's been only 2 days. Give it at least a week, if nothing happens or status is still at AP might want to contact them and make a follow-up or ask if they already received the doc.

Don't worry, since you said you were approved, your visa will be granted to you soon.

Hello everyone and congrats on getting your visa i'm still under AP two weeks after interview, tried to track my passport today at cgifederal, normally its "passport still with the post" but now i see none, my profile info, delivery etc and no other choices i was approved during interview, my police clearance is from hk is already sent to teh consulate last Jul 30.

its been over a month since i applied for police clearance in Hong Kong, they keep saying its already in process like today i got email saying the same exact words my Ceac status still on AP!!

where are you trying to get police certificate from? we just got the police certificate we needed yesterday

Hello, i'm getting it from Hong Kong we my fiancee sent back to them June 23rd bec. They request bank draft for payment and was received June 26 last Jul 7 they email me saying already on process

Hi guys after my interview last july 11 and went well very smoothly and verbally said by CO approved and no 221g given.Checking online i was put "Ready" case is open for 2weeks then put Administrative processing after.What does this mean?Im confuse and worried that till now i dont receive my visa.Please enlighten me.Thanks.

Hello my Interview was last Jul 18th i was approve but given 221g because my HK police clearance still not in them anyway its been a month now since i applied for my police clearance. I'm still on AP.

Maybe I will have borrow my wife's iPad one day just to see what is missing.

Lol i mean only the Captcha i enter always says did not match when i entered the correct number or letter, both the link u give and Zedayn so i tried my luck on laptop first try it was success no hassle at all

Don't worry about filling the forms up online...you still need to fill them out at CFO. You can print out the forms online and fill them in by hand, and then take it to your CFO (to help you fill out the forms there), but you will still need to fill up their registration forms when you get there.

You definitely need an appointment online. As to the reg form, you can do that online, you can print it out and fill it in and bring it with you, or you can fill out the one they have there.

I sent mine May of 26th my fiancee has issued his personal check for the payment but before end of June they send it back to my fiancee they said they cannot process my police certificate because they want a bank check or bank draft and fiancee did as they told and re-mailed it to hong kong the same day. Getting a bank draft here or money order is such a headache it took me so long i have BDO accnt but they did not issue me unless u open for check account
