Thank you all for your comments and well let's say we do apply would it affect his petition? I don't want to screw anything up.

So I'm pregnant and due in end of November beginning of December. I have submitted my husbands I-130 and well I understand it might be a wait. I just want to know if there was a possibility that if he could apply for a tourist visa in Guatemala and well just be here for the birth of our daughter. I understand that he could not stay here with a tourist visa because it would be considered fraud. I just don't want to be alone when I give birth. Any ideas? Comments? Anything would be appreciated

This is a long kinda complicated so I'll keep it short. My fiancés k1 was approved in Jan 2014 and he came back to the states with me. We got married legally on Feb 21, 2014. Due to money issues we couldn't apply for his AOS and because of this couldn't get his adavanced parole. His visa was due to expire in July of 2014. Then his mother got sick and had to return to Guatemala. So he left June 2014. I'm 5 months pregnant and I want to apply for an I-130 and I read I can apply for a k3. I just want to make sure that he will be ok just because I don't want it to seem suspicious because he had his k1 then left. We DID get married and he left BEFORE his visa expired so does anyone know if I could apply for him as my husband now? How long might it take? For either the I-130 or K3? Any suggestions or comments that might help will be deeply and truly appreciated!!!

appointment in the Guatemalan embassy was on Jan 3, 2014 and well besides the workers there being RUDE.... we were approved!!!!

we picked up the Visa on the following Tuesday! He is here with me! thank you to everyone who helped!!! especially EMILY!!!!!

does the cosponsor have to reach the 100% poverty or the 125%???

do I still fill out a I-134?? plus the cosponsor?

no family just me I have a 401k but it's only like 1000 in there so far I have stock from my company but I don't think I could use it either I've only been at work for 1 and 7 months. I do own my own car lol if that makes a difference. :/

I'm doing the k1 I-134 but I missed the income requirements by $3,000 and some change. Can I get a cosponsor and join our incomes???? I'm really running out of time! Any help would be appreciated!

I'm really excited and nervous for our interview in the Guatemalen embassy!!! mostly nervous I really hope it's approved and well my fiancé comes home with me! any recommendations or advice for the interview. I don't want to think negatively! I would really appreciate any advice! I've never ever done something like this and I don't want my nerves get the best of me!!! thanks again in advance!!!

My mistake you are right so it says petition has been approved please contact consulate for visa issuance. Do I do something or do I wait?

So I'm very happy October 10, 2013 K1 was approved yay! But the approval notice says to contact the cosulate? So do I call the Guatemalen cosulate? I thought it was forwarded to the NVC I have no idea. I'm worried because the approval is valid until 2/2/2014 I'm worried because time is on a fly and I don't want to sit around and do nothing!!! Please anyone who knows any information will help me please please!! Thank you in advance!

Thank you for answering I truly appreciate it it was approved October 10 2013 and I got the approval in the mail on Tuesday the 15 of October. I just want to do whatever I have to do and have my fiancé here soon

I filed 129f for my fiancé it was accepted in April 2013 and I received an rfe in august I sent that in and now it has been approved only problem is that I only got the USCIS letter that says that the petition has been approved. I don't know what happens next?? Does my fiancé get something over there or how do we get our appointment. Please help anyone I'm a nervous wreck thanks everyone
