We received our notice October 16th. I call today to get a status update October 24th. I waited on hold for 45 minutes and was then told they have not received my petion I-129f. I was told they are running behind (you think) and it would be 8 weeks. That will place our petition in Middle december with NVC and my petition expires February 16, 2014. It appears we may be in trouble since Moscow is running late as well. What to do?

I do not know about lying. But I call yesterday after my I-129f was approved a week ago. I merely wanted a status update. They told me same thing. They did not have the petition and I have to wait 8 weeks. Our petition only good for 4 months. What gives?
