Hi all
I contacted embassy for status of my visa and they quickly replied that teh AP is over and I can expect my visa next week. but in the website I am still under AP and it is not issued or something. Is it normal? how long before receiving your visa, did your status change?
can I trust that and reserve my flight ebfore it gets more expensive

a question from those got check list.
I had a checklist and NVC received the doc at 16th of July . It is more than 1 month ( 1 month and 5 days) it is passed and no answer. I called them and they said they will put it in supervisor review and I really do not trust this customer care agents any longer. did any body got response after checklist this long? I am tired of this NVC.

My husband called the senator and asked him to follow up what is wrong with VSC.
their answer was :
"we are doing background check on the petitioners and that is why it takes time. it might take more times since we are very busy"
it is a very silly answer. since all other SCs are also doing same but they are way ahead. I doubt if in VSC , people are working! they might be on internal stuck or on coffee break all the time
