The issue is not him KNOWING the answers....is understanding which question is being asked.... It is his lack of knowing English... NOT being able to know the answer....

You guys I need your help....

My husband is going to be going to the interview (based on most people's time line within 1-3 months).

I am freaking out because I do not think he will pass... He can communicate ok in English but I "tested" him yesterday (he did not even open the book yet) and he could not understand 1/2 of the questions.... The issue is not him studying or know the answers, is him knowing what is being asked .... when I ask him in Spanish he does SO MUCH BETTER.... Have any of you Visa Journey's GURU's noticed a pattern of which questions are mostly asked? I think if he had a list of the most used questions he would be able to focus on those and remember the question....

I am sorry but A LOT is riding on him passing as I have an opportunity of working and living overseas and if he is not a Citizen I will not accept the offer.... Please help me......Thanks

I hope someone can help me...

I sent my application on the 24th of April and the check has been cashed and received the NOA... however last Friday I was checking the status on the website and it stated that "on 05/02/2013 we sent to a letter for the Biometrics appointment"... I have not received the letter and it has been a weel already? Is this normal? Based on others it appears that the appointment is done more or less within 30 days of the application... Should I be worried?

My husband has a permanent green card however about 1 1/2 years ago he was arrested and the actual charge was assault (he slaped me and the cops were called). We hired an attorney in which he stated that it was not a crime of "moral aptitude" and the case was dismissed. My husband went to anger management and we have the original court paper stating the case was dismissed. We would like to apply for him to become a citizen however we are worried that we may have problems (eventhough the attorney stated we will not) because in our last 2 trips when we entered into the county he had a meeting with an immigration attorney in which they asked him about his arrest.... They asked him a few questions, verified the information that was provided and let him go..... PLEASE HELP US.... we are scared that by applying for citizenship it will raise a RED FLAG and once we try to enter again to the county he will be retained and maybe even deported. YES.... we will answer the questionaire honestly and say "YES" to the question of the arrest. Thanks

We would like to start the process for my husband to become a citizen (we have been married over 3 years) in June and it is our understanding that the processing time for our area is about 6 months.... We are planning to go to Argentina in January or February of next year.... should we wait until we come back or can we travel at the time the process is on going? What happends if the process is delayed?

I just wanted to thank everyone who in their small part has contributed to helping my family in our visa journey. My husband finally got his 10 year GC after more than 3 years in this process.

It is hard to believe that over 3 years ago I was pregnant, my fiance was in another country without EVER having the possibility to even visit here (income restrictions) and looking at the very realistic possibility that I was going to be a single mother.

After 3 years he made it to the birth of our son by 2 weeks (K-1 Process), became a temporary resident and now finally a permanent resident and to make things even more precious I found out that I am pregnant with our second child.

I wanted to remind you guys to keep the hope and my prayers and good wishes are with all of you in this journey. I sincerely hope that all of you get what you are seeking.

My husband has a 10 year GC. We have been married 3 years and we are thinking about applying for his citizenship. Here is the question....

About 6 months ago we got into a fight, the cops came and he was arrested for "assault". He was released the next day and eventually the case was dropped after he succesfully attended anger management courses. This is his only offense and he has no other "criminal" records.

Our attorney stated that eventhough it is a domestic violence case it is not concidered cause for deportation because it is not a crime of "moral turpitude". I would like to know if this is 100% correct.

I am scared that he will be denied the citizenship or one day be deported. We have the original document from the court that the case has been closed. Has anyone had this experience???

I filed on May 20th and today I received an e-mail stating that my card has been ordered....
HOWEVER my case was not touched at all since we change our address and we never received an e-mail stating that it was approved....

Am I to believe that they started on my case, approved it and ordered the card all in one day....???

What do you guys think? Is it true?

I filed on 05/15/2008 and like you pissed off that people that filed after me have already been approved. I am verry happy for those so lucky however I think the applications should be worked on "first come first serve".

Hi All,
I filed the I-751 May 23rd 2008 at VSC, just wondering if there is anyone out still waiting with me? It seems that transfers for CSC are getting approved already and we are still stuck at VSC.

I read somewhere that they are trying to clear all the files before getting ready for April 1 H-1B season, also read they will be done transfering all the files to CSC be end of March. Any inputs?

I suggest that these people start drinking redbull!!!!

I not only did the AR-11 on line but I also sent the hard copy via mail. When I called to confirm that they have received the information (since the rep. stated that I will receive something within 45 days) they stated that the mail was never received and that "we must of had an issue with the system" eventhough I had a confirmation ####.... I recommend that you contact them personally AFTER all is done to confirm.

I hope you guys can help me!!!

My husband just called to tell me he lost his wallet which has not only his GC but also his extension document (copy) from INS.....We "were" going to go on vacation on the 29th of December but now I have no idea what to do.

Can someone tell me if we could travel with just the original extension document (I have it in the Safe Deposit Box) THANK GOD....

What are my options?
