I am presently stack on this forms , as i am filling out for a tourist visa .

The guide of the forms says - The form should be completed on-line by filling the applicale data fields .handwritten forms will be discarded?

Maybe my understanding, but i am meant to explain in section five and six, my reasons, well it will be more than the lines on the form so i have written it on a word doc as extra sheet,

Is this advisable, the right thing to do? help me, very confused my my instincts is that it will be ok as the forms has not been handwritten?

My sister is filling her forms for K1 visa, her partner is a USC and she is a British, on one of the forms it ask for her children which she has 1 with her partner( Child is a USC) and at the same time ask for accompannying children, she has listed her childs name on both sides but she is confused as to if she has not made a mistake and is she going to be paying for her filing fees and her child?

fromthe advice that I know the FOIA will take for ever??? It takes max 24 months and in that sense its a waste.. I think FBI is ok as it takes 4 months and that is better to know your police records there, The US immigration is funny but good luck everyone here???????

Well, I i was told in Dec 2007 that i was 63,098 out of a 93,876 number and wow we still in JUne and nothing else meanwhile i filed in April 2006.

Well i think you doign the write thing.. FOIA was a waste of money n time for me as I have decided to stay in my country , Uk for a bit ie till 2008 dec ... I overstayed for only 13 days and was denied entry in Oct 2004 n i dont think i was banned so i will wait n try the visa next yr to see what they say...

WEll my question is I file for my info on Freedom of Infomation Act (FOIA) in April Last yr(2006) and as of Today I still have no news on it?? I was told it takes 6-9 months max being a yr?? Has the timeline been increased again??

Can someone throw some light on this for me?? thanks and good luck to you all.

kikat, Just a quick one, I was interested in an answer to when the ban started, so in case the person left let say august 2003 after 20 days of overstaying on a wvp and was admitted on jan 2004 , this time no overstay but was refused entry in june 2004, when do the ban start if the person has got one, will it be August 2003 or June 2004 or Jan 2004, please help and thanks for your suggestions in here, you are great???

[Your lack of info will make it hard for someone to help you on views and ideas, can you break your situation done a bit, how long overstayand what type of visa you going for right now etc etc... good luck

Give yourself another 3 months. things are changing and you need to have patience. I think its taking 10 months now. good luck

I think your infromation is limited and all i can say is pay the money for a consultation, how come you dont have $100 for a quick consultation, Please be real and get to the bottom of your problem by investing in it.

Maybe someone wil come in and help but I think a good lawyer is what you need.

I dont think age matters, it only matters if the female is about 10 and above more years than the male, but as for you too, I dont think there is and all i can say is get all the papers ready and start asap, Good luck and take care..

Last year i was told it takes about 6-9 months ending of last year i heard it is now taking 9-12 months,,, hmmm Now 2007 i hear is taking up to 18 months,,, can someone help me out a it..

congrats, well pray as anything can happen but I do believe you are done.... Nothing will happen.. I am very positive.. these guys are the POE are funny but you know which ones to avoid,, No philly, those guys are so not ready and they question everything...

I overstayed and cant use my VWP again. I have requested for my FBI report and this is what it says on it?...

CHARGE 1 - ALIEN INADMISSIBILTY UNDER SECTION 212

Can someone explain to me what this means as I was not arrested by a police officer but by the custms officer who refused me entry and told me he will put me on the next flight home as I have overstyed before and need to go home to get a visa to come back????

In the USA if a custom officer detain you and you back in the UK the next day , will this reflect on your FBI file as an Arrest..

So far that is what I got.. that incident. My FBI was requested onthe 1st of August 2006 and got answer back on the 5 of dec 2006 5 months I guess. Any time frame for FOIA?? This was requested in April 2006, and so if it takes 9 motns i must be thinking next Feb,, Is this true.....

So, my girlfriend (I am a born US citizen) came to the US from the Philippines on a student visa. We met and the gears turned, and we decided our lives would be best spent together.

I've been looking around for information and the amount of twists and turns is daunting... can anyone just put this in layman's terms?

Congrates, well the next thing i guess is to start with the marriage process. is she stillin status, ie student visa valid?? if yes then she can adjust status straight away?? get a maariage lic, get it done and get the proper forms , fill it and if you are lost just consult an immigration lawyer or goole alot and you can get more hlep??

did you apply for AP with your AOS?? If Not then I guess you cant leave the country until you got a decision??? and if you did apply for AP with your AOS then please stay put and see what comes out?? you dont need to rush these guys?? stay put?? Also maybe someone will say more to what i know??

I dont think you will have a problem, just make sure you have strong ties back home. you need to have proof that you will return back home and continue with your life back home,, good luck. avoid Philly airport they are stupid???

I know the FOIA takes up to about a year but NOt FBI,, FBI i was more interested and if you notice my 1st question it centered more on it??? my dear??? FBI takes about 3 months but FOIA takes abit longer???

I only needed an idea on FBI as in when you request for the information and they tkae your $18 dollars from your credit card account How long can you wait for???
