Hi Group members,

I have a question regarding the process to file re-entry travel documents.

I'm US citizen and I applied for my parents to get a green card and finally, they are here in us but they want to return back home but they can't come every year to not lose the green card I heard about a white passport.

They have a flight back to home on Sept 29 and I want to file the application for them. We live in California. 

My question is how long usually it takes from the time of filing the application to time for a biometric appointment. I want to know if they can do that before they travel.

My situation as i filled AOS for my wife green card.

-NOA on 6-8-16 that a Green card extended for one year.

-NOA on 6-17-2016 for biometric on 7-7-2016 and we did that.

i notice that there is another Case no. Assigned to us came with the letter for biometric.WACXXXXXXXXXX

Until now 4/417 everytime i tried to check online they said error to find your case( notice i used the second case no. Cane with biometric)

Any help or experieence what we should do. My wife want to do travel arrangement but we don't know what we can do.

I'm US citizen and married filing for my parents, I prepared all required documents but i have one clrification does anyone have experience if i need to submit my marriage certificate with the documents or not?

I need to ask what exactly the civil documents i should submiT, Below what i know.

-Photo copy of my birth certificate. (Petitioner).

- Photo copy for my parents marriage certificate.

-Photo copy for my parents Passport.

- Form I-864 AOS.

-My recent tax transcript.

Please any other documents i should submit.

I864 is the one to be filed if your wife has an income she has to file i864A.

Your household size will be 4. You, Your wife and your parents. Make sure your income exceeds the 125% of the poverty guideline. Good luck. When did you file your I-130? If you dont mind me asking.

LOL.. Were not H&R BLOCK. I don't know what your Tax is.. That has nothing to do with your first question and has nothing to do with sponsoring/filing forms. Your Petition should include your Gross Income and Proof.

I think you don't know that to be sponsor you have to show your tax on last year showing how much your income...

Jot18's Link was 2014 Requirements. It is accurate. It won't change that much after March 1st. Maybe 2 or 3 hundred dollars. You need to show $29,812.00 for a household of 4 in which you are asking. Figure $30,000.00 Annually GROSS not Net Income.

For the Purposes of Immigration. Use your Gross Income before Taxes and deductions.

Send the I-130 now and worry about the income later on! No worries if you don't meet requirements you can send a joint sponser. They could be your siblings, aunt....

My wife get her green card through me CR-1 and she is 2 weeks now and still her green card not recieved on mail but her social security card was issued.

There is anyway to get status for her green card and if i need to change the address which will green card deliver.

The NVC will not work in the case until your priority date near to be current.....good luck with all my wishes to you

Is any one has any idea when the visa bulletin will change for Category F2A? My priority date is September 26, 2013 I received my case number and IIN on Dec 10, 2013 and I tried to chec ceac website didn't work with my case and IIN.

Anyone have experience how long it will take from NVC to upgrade the case from F2a to CR1 after i got my citizenship and email it to them...???
