not sure about JFK, but I made my initial entry at Chicago. Pretty bad. My layover at Chicago was 4 hours and I tightly made it.

Hi Yilees, was the letter addressed to your full name first name or just your first letter of your first name and full last name?
It was just the first letter of my given names and full surname.

Hello all
Just got a letter from USCIS saying my case had been approved. Date of decision Apr 11 and should receive my new card within 90 days. Online status not updated.
Such a relief. Good luck to you all who are still anxiously waiting.

just got back from my infopass appointment at Delaware office. The process was quick. They gave me an extension stamp for another year on my passport. And they kept my original green card saying it's not valid and needs to be destroyed. The lady was very professional and told me Vermont office was experiencing a backlog. But she said I would be able to expect a decision in 1-3 months. She also suggested that I would be welcome to apply for citizenship anytime from now. And the whole process of applying for citizenship would take under a year.

You can think about getting your driver license if you have not got one. Get to know what is around you.

I arrived in the USA on May 6, 2014 on CR1, and got my green card in mail in late Jun. I think you can contact USCIS National Customer Service Center at 800-375-5283 if you have not received the green card within 30 days from the date of your arrival.

I traveled to South America and stayed there for a month, didn't have any issues te entering. Just make sure you have your expired gc and the NOA/ extension letter with you and you are good to go.
Thanks for your reminder, Liliay. So excited about the trip.
I traveled to Canada at the end of June and had no issues when returning to the US. As long as you have the extension letter with expired GC, you're good to go! Enjoy your trip :-)
Thank you so much!

We traveled to the UK and Iceland with no problems whatsoever!
Great! Thank you so much!

Has anyone traveled overseas since applied for I751?
My husband and I are planning a European trip in Sep and wondering if there would be any problem when re entering the US.

Hi, USCIS does not update anything regarding biometric online. The next online change you'll see should be when you're approved and it says "card in production." Sometimes, USCIS does not even update the approval and you'll just find your green card quietly sitting in your mailbox! Good luck to you!
Thank you so much! It's really helpful. I can now stop checking the case status everyday.

Hi everyone
I had got fingerprinted last week. Am I expected to see any change on the USCIS case status about this?
Thanks in advance.

Hi all,
I was wondering how long after you all got the NOA1 you received the Biometrics appointment letter. I only ask because I am an April filer and got my NOA1 on 4.4.16 but haven't gotten the biometrics letter, however I'm going on vacation May 16th and don't want to be having a panic attack all the time I'm away. Please let me know. Thank you!
-Fania
I got mine about 10 days after I got my NOA1.

Can someone please update my information?
My NOA1 date APR1
Biometrics APR29
Thanks.

i sent the application on Mar 30 and it was delivered on March 31. Now I got the notice of action in mail dated April 1. Postmark shows it was sent out on April 4 and my check was cashed on April 5.
FYI.

Don't give up yet. I personally like Stonyfield Organic Smoothie. I know they're not real yogurt, but I love the taste and flavor.
Not sure if there is any Wegman's or Trader Joe's near you. I like the Trader Joe's flip yogurt. I think Yoplait is pretty good too if you like sweet and not very thick yogurt.

Just sent my application to USCIS Vermont. USPS said it's to be delivered tomorrow by 3pm.
Hope everything will be fine. Good luck, everyone!

Great news
I just got part of the requested transcripts in mail. Hopefully the others are arriving soon.

7-10 days. If you go to your local IRS office, they can print them out for you right there.
Very helpful. I think I'll just go to IRS if I don't get anything until next Monday.
-
It takes about 7 days.
Thanks! I think today is my 7th day. I'll check the mail later.

Does anybody have any experience about how long it normally takes the tax transcript to arrive after requesting them on IRS.gov?
I am currently in Delaware and I requested the transcript online on Mar 16. Haven't got anything in mail yet. Wondering if it is normal.
Thanks.
